I have added this to my wood lathe hollowing rig. I can see what is happeneing on a screen after I fosuc the camera wio the carving bit. I put a clear oberlay over lay on the diplay, then using a dry erase monitor draw where the lathe bit is, and then when I move the tool into the bowl for hollowing, I can determine how close the bit is. The camera works well, great piucture, and perfect for what I'm using it for.

Got this one because of limited options available for this type of camera. Picture is just average and mounting is a little quirky but works.

Works very well! I hooked it up to a small TV set, and aimed it out my window to see the driveway. It's like moving the bedroom window into the living room! Works well in all lighting conditions (bright sun to dim streetlights).

I have an unusual use for these cameras. I needed something small I could mount inside hidden areas of a Toy Train Layout so I can see which train is on which track. As one reviewer noted, these have a nice wide angle view, which is unusual for such a small camera. I tried 4 or 5 other cameras before I found these. I mounted them to the ceiling of the hidden stations, and I can clearly see items which are a few inches from the cameras. I do have some LED lighting under the tables, so the cameras are not running in darkness. The small mounting clamp provided with the camera is very nice, has a strong magnet, and was totally useless to me, but I could see other uses for it. I was able to fabricate cheap mounts using 1/2 PVC plumbing parts. I used a "T" connector (designed to connect three 1/2 pipes); I put the camera in the middle of the T, facing out, and pulled the cables through one of the side holes. I use the other side hole to manipulate the angle of the camera. As one reviewer noted, these are not Sony Cameras, but the quality looks great. Maybe Sony makes the CCD chip used. Optical quality of the lens is good; I think are pretty sharp for a sub $30 camera. I have 2 of them connected to a 8" TFT display, and the quality looks as good as a DVD played on the same monitor. I am very happy with these. I powered mine from the same 12 volt supply used to run the TFT display, which is designed to be used in the back of headrests in cars.

Mine worked, so far. Picture quality is better than expected. Great for older tvs with no hdmi.

This camera is relatively useless. I’m not even sure why they’re still making it in 2025. The picture quality is so poor it’s worse than a 1990’s music video. Night time is pure black even with lights, and quality is less than 720p during daylight. Color is awful and shapes blur into each other. You can’t even see a face with this camera, just a circle with 2 dots. Even after adjusting the DVR color settings to pamper to this disgrace of a camera, the picture is still just blurry spots. Ordered 2 and both were awful. Returning both and sad they even make cameras with this poor of quality (because what’s the point if you can’t see anything, even if it is small?) I ordered a dome camera for $2 more from a different seller and that one is actual 1080p with clear picture and wide angle, so buyer beware! For $35.40 after tax this is a total waste of money, 10/10 to Amazon for returning both of these.

Use this for a DIY hollowing tool with a 17” monitor. Works ok, but not a clear as I had hoped.

Love the camera, but the clip stinks. There is no space in the middle of the grips and it easily slides off most anything it’s clipped to. I wrapped some Sugru around the camera & made a mount out of Sugru making a hole for a tripod to mount into. Now, I find it much more usable.

What a pleasant surprise, the clarity is astonishing, now adjustments required. It's only 3/4 of an inch in diameter and no night vision, but super clear by daylight. Easy to install.

Good product and condition. Haven't tried it yet!
