I'm a regular coffee drinker for many many years - every day have had multiple cups, probably 2-3 at least in the morning, not in the afternoon. I like my coffee but not the diuretic side effects so much as I've grown older. I've been using this for a little over a week. 15-20mg along with a half a cup of coffee (wife still drinks coffee) or an expresso. Huge improvement and feel like I have a little more energy as well. Also probably could be good for saving money on energy drinks if that is your thing. I combine it with Sparkling ICE water, probably 4 ozs. By itself in water its a little bitter. Built in measurement is kind of nice but I just use a teaspoon which is around 15mg.

I seldom write reviews but I truly enjoy so many things about this product that I feel compelled to share. 1-This product gives me the energy boost that I need to get through the day. Whether my day is packed with brain work, driving, or physical labor, I can count on NuCaffeine to get me past energy hurdles. 2-I love the versatility of this product. I can add it to anything with no impact on the flavor. I love it with my favorite drinks such as beet juice, coconut water, or cucumber water. I have never tried it with plain water, but I am guessing that it would add a slight flavor to it. Adding to its versatility is the ability to add as little or a much caffeine to your drink of choice as you see fit (within good health guidelines). 3- Price point is on target. I usually add about 10ml to my drink after breakfast and again after lunch. One container lasts me about 6 weeks. That is approximately 75-85 energy drinks for around $33. Best deal that I know of. 4- No jitters! No upset stomach! No artificial sweeteners! No added food coloring! Just caffeine from green coffee beans. 5-I do not care for the taste of coffee, nor do I care for coffee breath. These are not issues with NuCaffeine. 6- Last, it comes with a handy little measurement container that easily fits in a purse or backpack. I took it with me on an overseas vacation without a problem I wan not compensated for this glowing review, I just really Ike the product and have been ordering it from Amazon regularly for over two years. With Liquid caffeine you skip the calories and additives of energy drinks I mix with a little bit of fruit juice. A little bitter, not a big deal.

Gives me good energy with no crash. Not super bitter but still very noticeable. I'd recommend adding it to a sweetened drink like a smoothie or juice to mask it. Artificial sweeteners don't cover it up very well unless you use more. Adding it to already caffeinated drinks like coffee, energy drinks, or pre workout makes them taste pretty bad.

I, like very many people, need a boost of energy whether it be to wake up or it be for work etc. I was just kind of tired with buying energy drinks or even energy concentrates for my sodastream, so when I saw a 15% off promo I just ultimately decided to try this. nuCaffeine only contains 5 things; caffeine, vitamin B3, potassium, magnesium, and lastly sodium so it really doesn't have sugar or calories and is short on stuff they crammed in here which is great. I wouldn't say there isn't a smell or a taste to this because there definitely is, but adding it to something flavored or even slightly flavored should eliminate both of those as long as you mix it because if you don't you are in for a bitter surprise. This also comes with a little travel measuring tube if you wanted to use that, and a measuring side on the actual bottle which is nice and has a pretty good chart of how much caffeine to mg ratio you get. I always just end up adding 30 mg to some zero soda. My only real complaint about this is price as $32 for 32 ounces seems kinda steep, even though if you do the math with a lot of people who would probably buy energy drinks daily or even get them in bulk it really does come out to a good deal, especially since after a month and a week of doing 30mg+ 4 days a week I still have quite a bit left still. It just feels more pricey than it really is, so maybe not a complaint, but more of a thought. I mean if you want to just add your own caffeine to drinks without buying energy drinks, this is a really good product that does the job. I wish it was cheaper, but hey I will end up buying another bottle here soon regardless as it still is a good deal and I like caffeine sooooooo.

So my as-is rating for this would be a one as there is in fact an extremely bitter taste, however, I figured out that adding just a little under a teaspoon of light corn syrup to entire bottle eliminates the taste, making it a 5 star product. For years I've started my day with a little bit of VPX Redline in a tall glass of flavored water, both had zero sugar & calories. When VPX was discontinued I was at a loss and tried many different things. At first I thought this was another disappointment but as I don't mind a little sugar in my drink I tried adding a drop of corn syrup to a glass and it made all the difference. Now that I've mixed in about a teaspoon full in the whole bottle, it's super easy to just mix with my flavored water, and I once again have the sweet tart taste I crave. The caffeine itself is great, no shakiness or huge crash. Very mellow but you know it's there. The price really can't be beat.
