Great for walking my Bloodhound. He loves to sniff. Had several weeks now and still no knots! Easy to untangle.

I have a 56 pound Belgian Malinois . . . who is admittedly a big time :puller".I could feel the lead giving when Gunner really lowered his head and would pull.Felt like the stitching was giving way.Would not rec'd.

It broke

UPDATE: 12/7/2018I cannot recommend this lead as it broke with very little resistance, letting my dog run free unexpectedly. While I was worried about the small metal clasp breaking, it actually held up. What broke, setting my dog free was the plastic adjuster clasp circled in the picture. Luckily, this happened at the dog park but could have been disastrous had it happened anywhere else. This dog is an 8 yr. old rescue from La., and I've only had him for 6 weeks so training is crucial and I need tools that I can count on. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. I'll sew it back together myself but cannot recommend it for anything other than small dogs. My dog is 65lbs and he broke it with minimal effort.This is a great lead for the money but the buckle is a bit small and doesn't feel like it would hold up under a large dog's pull. I recently adopted an 8 yr. old, 65lb. Lab and it is OK for him but he hasn't ran to the end of it at full speed. I fear if he did, it would break. If you have a smaller dog or even a medium dog, this is a no-brainer. The quality of the nylon and stitching is top notch. I highly recommend it for small and medium dog's.

My goldendoodle 10 lbs broke the snap off lease and almost got hit by a car going acoss the road. I purchased the 30 ft lease for her training and very heart broken with concern of product. Alan GRIMM Altoona Iowa

This is very poor quality. The first time my dog went out into the yard with this, the sewn handle and metal ring came apart and she ran. Thankfully, she ran directly toward a friend, or I wouldn’t have a dog anymore.

My 50lb German Shepherd pulled too hard and the fabric came off the hook. Thankfully I was able to catch her, do not recommend for medium sized dogs.
