This lovely little book is a collection of short inspirational stories and anecdotes, all said to be true. They are grouped in four sections--"Intervention from Heaven," "Power from Heaven," "Reassurance from Heaven," and "Healing from Heaven." The stories can be read separately when a person has only a few minutes to sit down or even during TV commercials, and any reader is bound to find at least one that particularly speaks to him. The one I found especially memorable was "Glimpse of Paradise" by Audre L. Tribbe. It was meaningful because I had a similar experience. The author tells of her plan to invite her mother, who had health problems, to Washington, D.C., to see the cherry blossoms, but her mother passed away before this could happen. When my mother was ill with leukemia, she wanted to see the cherry blossoms, and her brother, who lived near Washington, wanted her to spend a few days with his family so he could take her to see the blossoms. I thought it was a wonderful idea, but her doctor talked her out of making the trip. He said he was thinking of the future, but she died a few months later without ever seeing the trees at the Tidal Basin in bloom. Whenever I would see pictures of the cherry blossoms, I would think of that. But the author's experience went a bit further. She heard her mother's voice saying, "Oh, Audre, if you think the cherry blossoms are beautiful, you should see what I'm seeing!" I expect that my mother is seeing it, too.

Love books about angels. This book gives so much inspiration. After reading I feel always much better and have hope for the future. It is written well, nothing exceptional, it reads well. As long as you love the subject you can overlook the grammatical errors and printing errors.

These stories bring a little bit of Heaven down to Earth...and who doesn't want that? Like capturing fireflies in a jar!

This book is a great gift for someone in the hospital, or recovering at home..or struggling in some way. it is short but true accounts of Gods faithfulness in the lives of others

Read it cover to cover and then donated it to the library for others to enjoy. Very inspiring.

I bought this book for my elderly mother, who is enjoying it very much. With her increasing dementia, she can no longer read full length books, and these short, inspirational stories are just the thing.
