Very quick and easy to replace and it worked fine.
This start capacitor has a much smaller diameter than the original (30 years old+) but it works fine. The original was 4-3/8" L x 2-5/8" diameter. This one is about the same length but just over 1-3/4" diameter. Plugged it in and replaced the cover and the air compressor started right up when I flipped the switch. It took less than 5 minutes total time to replace it and have the compressor running again. It's a capacitor, either it works or it doesn't. At the price I'm tempted to buy a spare. I sucked being with the compressor.
