La Bella TI832 Tony Iommi Signature Set D# Tuning 8-32

I am a die hard Tony/Sabbath fan and a guitar player for over 29 years. I’ve used and tried many different strings and gauges over the years and honestly these are fantastic. I know most players think tuning down to C# with this light of a gauge is ridiculous but to me if you’re looking for the feel and tone that the Godfather achieves …this is it. The tension is loose but is very comfortable and the lighter gauge def brightens the tone up. These are not too different than using a traditional 9-42 set but I do feel a difference in the B and G strings. Just a bit more comfy ?? Perfect for those trademark Iommi vibratos. Can’t wait to try out the E Flat set! Doom on!!

Strings came out of the pack with bends in them. Ok…..maybe just had a rough freight. String broke after 3 days. Ok…..maybe these strings are garbage. I fully understand why they’re so light. Tony Iommi didn’t have fingertips on his fret hand, his technique involved a lot of string bends as well. These things just don’t hold up to even moderate bending techniques. Would NOT recommend and I hope Tony takes his name off of these poor quality strings.

Great string. They get only 4 stars why?The price difference from they're own site. Is 4 dollars cheaper over there. WTH? Some ppl may complain about shipping but I'm in no rush.

Great quality strings. Goes perfect with my Jaydee Iommi Oldboy! Sounds killer and the missing ingredient to the Iommi tone!
