It's been a long time since we've had dried ghost chile flakes in our house. The color is lighter than I'm accustomed to seeing compared to Sonoran Spice Company product, which made me doubt the product's efficacy. Upon opening the container, the aroma and heat level is unmistakably potent. There's a noticeable amount of seeds that make up the weight, but the product quality remains decent. The price for 8 ounces is unbeatable, and is plenty for food challenges or pranks for years to come. I like to use it in homemade beef jerky, chili, and pizzas.

Can’t complain
Not as good as the Trader Joe smoke ghost pepper flakes, but it’s the next best thing (for the price) when you can’t get those. The heat is great, fruitiness is ok, flavor is ok. I’m interested to see if Sonoran Spice Co is better.

Amount in my bottle was less than described.
The amount of ounces was less then specified on a description. Also the picture of bottle is full on the description the bottle I received at a lot less in it.
