It's width is way too small to hold most cups that are of any decent usable size. Also, it's just a cheap spring with a end cap of something on the bottom. It was obviously just tossed together without any real thought put into it. The first time I used it, the drink I had spilled because the spring isn't attached to the bottom. To be usable, it needs to be wider to hold a drink, the base needs to be wider to be stable and the part of the spring needs to be attached to the base.

I recently purchased a 2018 Honda HR-V; while I love the performance of the vehicle, the design of its center cupholders is deplorable! This little cup holder fits right in the existing overly large and overly deep cupholder and enables me to set my 16-20 oz. drinks in the cupholder confident that said drink/liquid will not spill yet will remain easily accessible. Worth the money if you own a Honda SUV.

This is such an amazing cup holder. I had to buy this because my cat got a big kick out of knocking my drinks off of my table. Now that I have this he goes up and paws at my drinks but has yet to be able to knock anything over.

The wide base gives a soda can good stability in a moving RV

It could be a little taller but it works fine on my riding lawn mower.

I bought for a lawn mower. The double-sided tape wouldn't stick at all so I used "Alien" tape that was being advertised and surprisingly this actually stuck the base to the mower. Unfortunately the spring part came off the base so I'm going to try the Alien tape again to see if I can fix this. My recommendation would be do not buy. This is really cheaply made.
