The case is well made and will protect your phone, yes it is big but for me it is simple, if I know I am going to be using filters and lens then I will take it with me. The big win for me is that the weight is still within the Hohem M6 gimbal max capacity even with filters and lens. Also I can use it with just my tri pod. I did a lot of research before purchasing so I was informed about the size / thickness etc. I guess there would be some negatives if it was cheap thin rubber. To be honest it is one of the better purchases over the past few months. When you fit the adaptors push on them before sliding them down as I have seen some YT video's where the person struggle to put them on. Nice and simple when you know. Wear & tear well not had it long enough to find that out For the money and quality of the case I think it is priced fairly well. We all want things cheaper but quality generally prevails in the long term

Well, that phone has a 7 years updates window and does 8k30fps, 4k120fps, at the top of what's technically possible nowadays. Meaning you well above future proofing. If smartphone videography is a use case for you, this is a must. I use the same filters as my full frame mirrorless 67mm. I legitimately giving up on buying a B-Cam and rather have that more flexible mix.

I’ll start off with my only negative first. I accept I have to remove my phone from its case to put this in, but I don’t understand why the cage is designed in such a way that most of the rear of the phone is left exposed and uncovered. There could easily have been a silicone piece protecting the back of the phone. The build quality of the cage is very good and it doesn’t add too much weight or bulk to what is an already large phone. Placing the phone in there is simply enough to do and it feels secure once in there. Where the phone sits, around the edges there is a rubberised material to protect the phone and there’s also some softish padding around the camera area There’s plenty of mounting options, screw and cold shoe, around all the edges and everything is nicely balanced. I found it both easy and comfortable to hold. Popping an LED light on via one of the cold shoes took only a few seconds and there’s easily enough room for a mic and tripod/bipod. You do also get some filters and lens attachments that fit over the phones cameras. I haven’t tried these since I have neither for my phone yet. £68.38 does seem a lot for this cage, but I am impressed with the overall build quality and accessories. I just wish the rear of my phone had some protection. At the time of writing this review there was a 20% off tick-box voucher on the Amazon UK product page, taking the price down to £54.70. Comes in a retail box with 3 different mounting plates for filters and lenses and a basic instruction manual. This is a high quality solid metal cage/case that fits my s24 ultra perfectly. All the important cutouts are perfectly placed and cause no obstructions. The side buttons are just some rubber pads that work as intended as well. A simple catch at the top unlocks a hinged section and its a simple matter of sliding your phone in and rubber pads around the edges help to protect your phone from scratches and help to hold it securely in place. You have multiple cold shoe and 1/4" thread options for mounting around the cage for all manner of attachments making this extremely versatile and turn your shiny S24 ultra into a photography and video powerhouse. When i received this i immediately purchased a nice 67mm Neewer filter kit to go along with this and plan to grab some lenses later down the road. I would not use this cage as a permanent case that's for sure but for photography and video capture its going to be an essential part of my use in those scenarios. The price may seem high but this is not really a phone case but a high quality metal cage and thus you have to pay for something this good and quite frankly its well worth the cost if you use your phone for photography and video. Recommended !

This is such a well thought out camera case; not only does it add a solid layer of protection, it features a huge amount of various connection points to add a multitude of accessories such as handles, lighting or microphone to name a few. For those wondering: • The phone buttons are still usable due to the buttons featured on the case. • Important ports are still accessible. • The cage adds about 12mm to its width and length. The phone simply slides into the case and there is a locking mechanism to keep it securely in place. For those who heavily use the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for videography/Photography, then this is a must.

Getting on to spend some money, but still cheaper and more practical than a whole rig. It all seems designed for a single product... so when the new phone comes, this will stay behind... just keep that in mind. It's a "make this the best now" purchase, not a futureproof one.

Alright, this case is huge. It's not particularly heavy, but it's big and it's metal. Now that's out of the way, you can check my photos so you can see how I attached an 82MM ND filter to this case using step-up rings. And now that's out of the way, if you're serious about turning your shiny new Galaxy S24 into a photo powerhouse, you can seriously consider buying this case.
