Portable and light weight
Delivery on time. Perfect for small churches. We used it as Monitor in our church as well as brought with us when we go for outside program. Battery last too long that it had never ran out on us. Price is fair enough for the quality. Must have gadgets.

Nice Product
Using Jbl eon 208p in our Church, added this for monitor purpose & for outdoor use when required. Initially not happy with it as I was not able to manage its knobs & settings through its physically controls which are not clear & it was not sounding as good as our existing eons. Next day I downloaded its app & linked them & adjusted its eqs etc & it was whole new world & it started to sound better than our eons. To all users, app use is a must to get the best out of this speaker. Battery I have charged once & taken it out & will use only when required, so backup I dont know.

JBL EON ONE Compact Review (From a Guitarist & Singer)
I am a guitarist and singer, and I purchased the JBL EON ONE Compact mainly for private gigs and personal music listening. Sound Quality: For the price point, the overall sound quality is not up to the mark. While the clarity is decent, the output doesn’t feel powerful or rich enough to justify the cost. The Bluetooth playback, in particular, is not loud enough compared to what one would expect at this price range. Mixing & Controls: Sound shaping is a bit disappointing. Adjusting bass and treble feels limited, and proper mixing is harder than expected. Even with tweaking, it’s difficult to get a punchy or warm sound. Effects (Reverb, Delay, Chorus): This is one of the weaker areas. Even when the reverb, delay, or chorus are set to full, the effect is very subtle and doesn’t add much character or depth. For live performers who rely on effects, this can be underwhelming. What’s Good: The vocal and guitar input quality is genuinely good. Mic and instrument inputs are clean, clear, and usable for live performance. It works well for small gatherings of around 20–30 people, making it suitable for intimate gigs, house concerts, or small events. Final Verdict: The JBL EON ONE Compact is portable and convenient, and it performs well for basic vocal and guitar amplification. However, considering the price, the sound output, Bluetooth loudness, mixing flexibility, and onboard effects could have been much better. Best suited for: ✔ Small private gigs ✔ Solo performers ✔ Casual listening ✖ Not ideal if you expect powerful sound, strong effects, or advanced mixing

Good instrument
The EON ONE COMPACT P.A. system is professional level, sound is good, very loud (120w), all the controls are great. But still there are some issues. Having used a few times, if it is left idle for some time, like 30 mins, it will disconnect from the mobile from which we are controlling it through Bluetooth. If there are some people between the box and the controlling mobile, the Bluetooth connection is not stable, the music streaming is stuttering/stumbling, gets cut every few seconds, then after 1 second it will continue. Connecting properly to the box from the mobile by Bluetooth takes 2-3 attempts, because if the box is connected AS A (MERE) BLUETOOTH SPEAKER, the controlling app simply will not do anything. Connected FROM THE APP (JBL Compact Connect) will make the app work properly. When connected, it will work good.

Value for money
After lot of research, Finally ordered this one. Everything is perfect about this speaker but just reverb. It is not that great from the knobs but it can be increased by their app

TLDR: Absolutely the best portable Bluetooth speaker & PA system Purchased: October 2020 for CAD$691+tax from Amazon Warehouse deals. Updated this review at least once a year since. My requirements: A solid, movable, battery powered, Bluetooth speaker with excellent clear sound quality and lots of power. I'm an audiophile-- sound quality is most important to me. Tested a number of battery powered speakers and PA systems including Bose S1 pro, JBL PartyBox 100, 300, Ion Party Rocker etc before settling on this. What this is: A professional PA system for performers, MCs, Karaoke etc. What I use it for: Speaker for outdoor dancing events, with a cheap tablet for music & app control. Recommended for: Tinkerers with some understanding of audio equipment-- Effort & time is required. Not Recommended for: Anyone wanting a speaker to work perfectly right out of the box with zero effort (and there's nothing wrong with that). PROS: - Sound quality: LOUD, clean, crisp & clear-- it's louder and clearer than a lot of (older) pro equipment-- we ALWAYS compliments our music and how clear it is. - Build: Solid AF, good for the next 10 years or more. - Portability: Small enough to walk short distances using the handle- get a backpack for longer distances. - Bass: I'm a bass-head and this has all the bass you'll need and more-- Learn to use the speaker controls and app. - Bluetooth: Works extremely well. Great quality with no disconnection. Connect and forget about it. - Battery: Since winter 2020, I've used this 1-3x week for outdoor events up to 6 hours long for a crowd of up to 50ppl. Recharge immediately-- a little care goes a long way. - App: Packed with lots of features, effects and with full control of the equalizer and mixer. - No annoying lights! Cons: - Not waterproof, but splash proof - Weight & Portability: Weight and size is at lower end of portability. Backpack recommended for anyone not used to carrying awkward grocery bags on a regular basis. - App: Horrible interface, slow, un-intuitive, poorly designed. - Battery: As with all rechargeable batteries, cold weather can cause issues. One time it ran for less than an hour at -2C at at outdoor event. Otherwise its been good. Spares recommended in cold weather. - Price: Expensive-- try Amazon warehouse deals. - No sexy lights! Tips: - Install and learn to use the JBL app (take pleasure in pulling teeth!) - Learn to use the mixer in the JBL app - Learn how to use controls on the speaker -- gives you more bass than you need - Upgrade the firmware. - Aux and other physical inputs gives better audio quality that Bluetooth (if you pay attention) - Get a speaker stand & speaker cover for rainy days. Its direct competitor is the Bose S1 Pro compact. The JBL is ALWAYS better for DJs, music and & parties, the Bose *might* sound more natural sound out of the box-using the JBL mixer fixes this. Definitively has way better Bluetooth than the Bose and most party-speakers. Also, the JBL PartyBoxes reduce the bass output when on battery only-- which is not the case with the EON One compact. If you get this, Please take the time to learn how to use it.
