Works very well absorbing water that drips from my dogs mouths as well as when I spill a little when setting their water down. Plus it's cute!

These are a little smaller than I imagined but still do a good job. Depending what your bowls are made of (ours are metal, and ceramic) the bowls stay in place pretty well.
