This is the first cloth style carrier I've used and so far, I'm very impressed. What struck me first was how well the carrier was made. The fabric feels sturdy, and the zippers and findings all seem of good quality and are attached flawlessly. I was a bit confused by the two bottom pieces until I realized that it can be converted into a backpack (yes, I don't know how I missed that in the ad, either!) The flooring pieces are a bit hard as they are made of a rather thick piece of plastic, but the flocked cover is loose enough that you can slide a pad inside. The two flooring pieces also have removeable covers for easy cleaning, though I do wonder how you would wash the rest of the carrier--I did not try washing it in my washing machine. I don't feel this would be a great carrier for a nervous cat, but if you had a well-mannered cat, I think it would do just great for trips. Most sides had a mesh screen for air that could be covered (zipped closed) for more secure travel. Overall, I really like this carrier and I hope it lasts a long time.

Was looking for a new carrier for my new kitty and decided on this one. This carrier is high-quality, well made and sturdy. I have a medium cat (about 12 lbs) and he fits in it just fine. I like that there is a pouch on the side for carrying anything I may need, such as documents, treats, or meds. It has a lot of safety features to keep your pet safe during travel, such as sturdy buckles and a clip to attach to your pet's collar while they're in the carrier. Also being able to use it as a backpack carrier for pets is very cool. I'd say this feature is more for small dogs but I'm sure some folks take their cats around like this, too. My cat would freak out so it's not a feature I'll be using. There is a pouch on the bottom for tucking in the backpack straps when not in use. However, this affects the stability of the carrier since it doesn't set down flat. It would have been better if the backpack straps were fully detachable. This is definitely a great carrier at a very affordable price.

I cannot say enough good things about this carrier! It’s well constructed and thoughtfully designed, and most importantly, the cat likes it. She is pretty old and her vet is kind of far so it’s important to ease her stress as much as possible. We had to use it recently, and it is so lightweight yet sturdy, and she seemed very comfortable in it. With full size openings on most sides, your pet cant hide in the corner and it’s much easier to get them out. All of the carry straps and travel accessories are detachable or tuckable. The entire bottom is a full size pocket for tucking the backpack shoulder straps away, making it very versatile between carry methods. It folds down totally flat for easy storage, the side pocket has two smaller mesh pockets inside it, and all of the zippers that access the main compartment have their own tiny security clips so nothing can accidentally open. There is even a clip and strap specifically for rolling down the little mesh window to keep it open. Like a tent! And that detail was the cherry on top :) As an added bonus, it fits in a car seat pet bed, giving it some extra stability for the ride

I got this for my Cavalier Spaniel and so far he just goes to the vet and back home. Before this arrived, I had concerns that it would collapse in on itself with him in it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is while still soft. There is a small leash hook on the inside for your pet, and you can put the soft bottom in the carrier and it velcros into place. You can access your pet at either end of the carrier, or you can secure them with the clasps so they do not accidentally come unzipped. You can also access your pet through the zippers on the top and on each of the long sides, or you can also secure the zippers with clasps. There is a long strap to carry your pet carrier on your shoulder, there is also a hand strap for ease in carrying, and there are straps like a backpack if you wanted to have your pet on your back while in the carrier on its side. Blue is my favorite color, and this is a beautiful shade of blue. I am so happy I got this!

The back pack straps arent removable so they are always hanging. Other than that its great, heavy duty, nicely lined. Its very cold here right now so that was a bonus for taking our kitty in today. Only the longest strap is removable. Would give it 5 stars if all straps were removable to customize it as desired.

I recently had to take my cat to the vet and this carrier did wonders for keeping her contained, and the fact that this is also a back pack style only means that I can take her on walks outdoors and know that she will enjoy the scenery safely and I won't have the worries of her getting loose. I have a couple other cats that will be enjoying occasional strolls as well. Very well made. Zippers are strong and so are the mesh areas, she did try to claw her way out at first to no success. She liked that she could see me while we were in travel. I probably wouldn't recommend this for those 20 pound cats out there at least while using the back pack part, but while carrying it, I know it will hold up well to the 20 lb cats as I happen to have a big boy that I had to try it out with, and it worked and held up very well. I highly recommend to cat owners and small dog owners alike.

This is a nice pet carrier. It's decent quality and has multiple straps for different carry options - handheld or backpack. It's suitable for a medium sized cat or a small dog.
