Easy install for under $100
These risers are so sturdy, made of solid steel. The instructions a minimal, but very easy to install. The steps do not come with it. I went to my local Home Depo and purchased some thick boards and made my steps 3 ft wide. They look great!

Probably need to get your own hardware
The stringers work as intended, nice and heavy and sturdy, however the inside bolt holes are difficult to work with. I didn't use any of the included hardware to attach the wood treads, instead I used bolts and nuts attached from the top-down, rather than screwing up through the treads. This worked well. The included hardware is good quality and I will save for some other project.

Solid and sturdy
Wanted a different look for the steps on my newly built back porch, these are SOLID and still look good after almost a year. Included screws are too long for 5/4 deck boards and the rear ones were a pain to install as the hole is mostly blocked by the frame.

Will hold the weight
heavy quality, painted nice, packaged very well, better than wood , , my treated wood lasted only 7 years, now this should last me a lifetime.

Screws provided are not self tapping see photo
You’re two major problems with this design number one they supply you with screws that strip easy and are not self tapping. They claim they are self tapping, but I concluded a picture of a true self tapping bolt which does not strip when you’re putting him into wood on the bottom up. They have blades on them that easily cut into the step above. I used 12 x 2 treated wood for the steps. The other issue is the space between the the main support and the bolt holes is too small to get all four screws inI used a narrow right angle drill attachment to help with this I was able to put three of the four screws in the one closest to the frame at the back of the step is almost impossible to put in unless you put it at an angleGood luck I got the steps in and they look pretty good

Great quality & easy installation
These stringers arrived a week early. The delivery team kept us informed every step of the way. They were packaged well. My husband and I were able to easily manage locating to the area needed and were easy to install. Fabulous value for the money. Durability is strong and seem like they will be functionally and last a very long time
