Moka Pot 9 Cup Espresso Maker, Stainless Steel for Gas, Electric and Ceramic Stovetop with Coffee Spoon (9 Cup)

I was used to the Bialetti moka pot and, at the beginning, the coffee made by this machine was a little bit watery. The space for the powder is not big here and there is a lot of space for water. The nice thing is that, if you compact a bit the coffee powder, you can get two nice cups of coffee tasting similar that with my 1 cup bialetti moka. It is not an expresso maker, there is no foam, so, the name is wrong. The spoon is cute, but useless for coffee... perhaps for ice cream ? !

The coffee maker looks beautiful. The problem is that the bottom material is so thin it pops, yes, it pops when the coffee starts to percolate. It pops so hard it jumps half an inch and falls back on the stove. The bottom remains bent outwards and rocking the coffee maker until the material cools down. My glass stove top makes such a sound you would fear a crack. My kids have timed the pop at 6-7 minutes, so they wait for it and think it's fun. Does the coffee complete the brewing process? Yes. Is the coffee good? Yes. I tried on my Camper stove, it pops and rocks in the same.

I needed a larger mocha pot because my boyfriend decided that he liked my coffee better than his standard drip! LOL! The quality of this one isn't as good as my smaller one, but it gets the job done, and the results are yummy! I would definitely buy this again, or as a gift for someone.
