Got first one and really liked it on my Volkswagen. The welcome light was very bright, clear and colorful. Definitely a cool factor that would stand out at night. However, when I ordered second one for rear doors, the seller shipped me a completely different product - MDI Adapter for iPhone and I don't even use iPhone. Returned it, but took weeks to get the refund back into my account - during the interval I returned other item and was processed within 2 days and got full refund in one week. Never ordered second one. One more thing to mention is that the already unattractive magnet that functions as a sensor came with damages on the surface. It also got valet people confused and make them pick it up thinking it as a coin or something. Once it came off, it was very difficult to attach it again with appropriate adhesive and place it on the exact spot to trigger the light.

This is a good product woefully lacking any instructions as others have noted. While it's semi-intuitive I almost gave up. The trick is the placement of the magnet. I have a MK7.5 GTI so the magnet needs to be on the edge (driver and passenger facing side) of the lighted door sill strip. There is also only one (sweet) spot that will trigger the sensor. Find and test that out before you insert the light and battery pack. It's a good inch+ from the centerline of the LED and only works one side. Test fit for that once you have it located use 3M (red) trim tape to adhere the magnet. The stuff that comes already on with the magnets is no good and will not last.Once situated the LED will come and off perfectly. Also. could be me but I could find no good spot to Velcro the battery pack ti inside the door reflector opening. For now at least I have it all just shoved in there. If anyone can advise me on that I'm all ears.

The package arrived quick with Prime 2-Day delivery. I opened the box and there were no instructions included. Luckily it was kind of easy to figure out. The adhesives that are included are very weak. I think the battery pack is probably going to detach with one average pothole. One of the magnets that came with it was cracked and pieces kept falling off. The adhesive to hold the battery wouldn't adhere to the door frame but luckily I had something stronger to hold it. The thing is, they look awesome and add a nice effect to my 2014 Jetta GLI. If they hold up for a bit I may add some to the back doors.

I really like them. I bought 2 for the front doors that fit okay but you can see white light along the top edges. Then the ones I bought for the back had little metal retainers and they fit perfectly but all the lights are aimed differently so it looks cheap. I did see a video that you can take them apart and aim the lights yourself but I'm afraid I'll break them. The magnets don't stick well at all so either buy better tape or superglue them. I also took someone's advice and painted the magnets to match. That looks much better but they are still an eyesore

These logo projector will stand out your car from the crowd . Just to share some instalation advice. It is important to fill out the gap between the bateries and the cover to keep them tight otherwise they lose contact. Other thing is to use a 3M tape to secure the magnet to the base, the one that is coming with it, doesn't attach properly. Other than that, it works as the advertising.

Installed on a 2016 Jetta the lights look awesome. One side fit perfectly and one side needed a slight adjustment. There were no instructions but not hard to figure out. The double sided tape for the magnet the turns the light off is a little weak. But the logo looks awesome at night. I need a set for my rear doors now. Best thing is that it looks factory installed***update*** would like to add that it has a self turn off feature as well.

The product is aamazing, easy to apply and looks very high end, looks great on my Gold Highline 2018. The only thing I would complain about is that I expected it to last longer with the batteries that I inserted.

Item did not fit my 2015 Volkswagen Passat, so I did not even get to see how well this product works. I was really disappointed. One of the items arrived damaged, so I returned it and decided not to get a replacement. Please send a clear direction for installation as well.
