Incredible value for your money
I've had the camera out for a few nights and have caught a lot of great shots and video. The app is easy enough to use and is very basic with all the necessary functions. Great value and would recommend. Solar functionality is keeping the battery charged.

It works.
This works but I find that where I tested it had too much activity from my chickens wandering around so I had way too much to sort through. I think in a nice spot in the woods for watching wildlife will be much better. It's very easy to use. The pictures are nice quality and it performs up to my standards.

Runs well!!
This camera is very easy to set up. The quality of the video is very good when transferred to the computer. The camera screen is bright and the motion detection is great. The night vision is very even across the screen, the sound is clear and the interface runs well. The build quality is very good.

Great Concept - Erratic Picture Quality
I love the concept: a solar charged internal battery with AA backup. I didn't love the photo quality. For testing, the internal battery was fully charged with a USB cable before deploying. A new micro SD card was installed and formatted. It was set to take 2 photos per trigger. I did not install AA batteries. I wanted to see how well the solar panel worked. I put the camera next to a wildlife pond. It was mounted on a small tripod for 15 days. The lens was 16" off the ground. It faced north sometimes, northeast the rest of the time. Weather conditions were variable. It was mid-March, late winter here. The temperature ranged from 14F to 60F during the testing. I had taken about 30 experimental photos inside before putting the camera out. Those initial photos were deleted. There were 81 unique photos on the two cards I used. After 15 days in variable weather, and about 120 photos, the battery scale was at 3/4 full. Since the camera was facing north, the panel was not perfectly oriented to the sun. If the panel was facing south, it is likely the charge would have been higher. I have used wildlife cameras for hunting and research for many years. It is my habit to swap out the memory cards to view photos on a computer or tablet. The design of this camera is not conducive to my method of viewing photos. I have old, clumsy hands. I don't really like handling micro SD cards. I've dropped countless normal SD cards in powdery snow. Dropping a micro SD into snow could be a big problem. Also, the location of the slot (underneath), makes it difficult to see, orient and access the card. Even if a camera was at deer height on a tree, accessing it underneath would pretty much require me to kneel on the ground. There is a small viewing screen, which also serves for setup. It is a nice feature for someone who doesn't want to swap out memory cards. I changed cards once during the 15 day period. Oddly, when I copied the photos from the second card into a computer folder, all the photos from the first card were on it. A second copy of each ended up in the folder. I have never had this happen with the dozens of cameras I've used. My major issue with this camera is photo quality. Out of 81 photos, 18 are of very poor quality. That's a 22% failure rate. Some are washed out. Some are out of focus. Some are quite good. The washed out photos (see sample) are from a camera facing away from the sun. This wasn't caused by sun glare. There are good and poor quality shots taken under similar conditions (see samples). I really liked the idea of using solar to reduce disposable battery use. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the photos makes it difficult to recommend this camera. I hope the manufacturer can fix this problem.

This Trail Camera is SO MUCH FUN!!
I use this camera on my property around my home. It is just amazing what one learns about the wildlife that are active whether you see them or not! It also helps to know what other animals or pets may be traveling around. I live in a semi-rural area and I have truly enjoyed being able to set out this camera and see the activity - fox, coyote, deer, opossum, raccoons, neighborhood dogs, cats and birds. It is fun to be able to see the time and date and to customize the camera to capture the information that is useful to you. Very easy to use once you understand the instructions and very easy to review the videos/photos and keep a sense of adventure around your home. Also, this company stands behind their product and will actually communicate with you when you have difficulty with their camera. Highly recommended.

Does not work on a mac.
The verdict is still out on this camera. I have had it out for over a month and have not captured a single animal on it. The first two weeks the camera was in a spot that may not have seen any animal traffic. The second location I moved it to is right next another working trail camera. This camera certainly has not picked up squirrels and other smaller animals that the camera next to it has. This camera has picked up people walking in front of it during the day just fine though so I know it works to some extent. The solar aspect of this camera works great. I put batteries in it initially and they are still showing fully charged. The viewing screen and menu navigation are one of the big drawbacks to this camera. The menu does not move smoothly. Often times I press a button and then wait a few seconds to see what happens. Sometimes pushing the button works but other times the camera does nothing. The pictures are hard to make out on the display once they are pulled up. Putting the camera card in a mac results in files not being recognized. When I put the camera card in a pc the file names the camera assigns to the pictures appears to the issues. If I delete the extra character this adds to the file format the pictures can then be opened by the pc. I will update my review after this camera has had more time to take pictures.

Long Battery life and great pictures and videos
The media could not be loaded. This is a great trail camera. I own 5 others but this is my first solar powered one. It makes a huge difference! you can set the timing function so you can leave the camera in place for a long time because of the solar power-the batteries recharge during the day and then the camera can run most of the night. Its got some great features-like taking 1-3 pictures before starting video and loop recording. The pictures and video are very good with this camera. My only negative is that I felt the instructions were a bit confusing; however, the customer service was very helpful. If you want to set up and leave your camera out for a longtime without having to check on it I would recommend getting this camera. Happy trail hunting all!
