Yep, these really are absorbent! It is so frustrating to buy coasters that puddle and drip water when used. These are so cute —-and no more drips from puddles!!

Very pretty and as pictured. The items, however, do not allow you remove rings, i.e. coffee or other liquids even with washing. I suppose they are not sealed so that they absorb but then leave a ring which you are stuck with. Not a problem, I suppose, if the ring is only water but I use mine for other beverages too. I would have liked to know that before purchasing.

Absorbent to a point and heavy duty.

These coasters are beautiful and well made. Would make a nice gift due to quality and reasonably priced.

Just what I needed for my bedroom- gives me a safe place to put my coffee cup off of my furniture. Cork backing prevents scratches on wood. Coasters work well for hot or cold items, no condensation rings from cold items during the warmer, more humid days. The stone really does absorb water.Design is beautiful, I love Dragonflies & the colors are perfect for my room!

These are well made and exactly how they appear in the picture. Design and colors are excellent. Going to buy more for gifts.

These are lovely coasters but unfortunately being ceramic do absorb stains, coffee for example !
