Overall this is a decent replacement tripod for your gimbal or anything that has a screw mount - flash unit, Nanlite Tubes, etc.The legs on mine were uneven tightness wise, so you may want to have a hex wrench handy. The hex patterns look rounded and are a tight squeeze, so tightening them are a pain. But out of the box, it's good enough, but worry if it will hold up in the future screw wise.

I was looking for a tripod with a wide base so my camera sitting on a stick wouldn't fall over, this works perfectly for that. The aluminum feels very solid and the legs are smooth, the joints are not wobbly at all. Feels more expensive than it was.One thing to note, the twisting of the top doesn't tighten down the legs. You can see in my picture that twisting the top shows notches that turn to where the legs fit into which narrows the width of the leg platform. I've never seen a tripod like this and find it to be very smart.
