Looks to be a quality product that will provide comfort during hikes on trails.

Comfy, plenty of grip and wide toe box.

For me the fit is perfect. For reasons inscrutable, Altra dropped their 'original' wide toe box foot shape for all but a couple styles. The Lone Peak is one of the styles with the 'original' foot shape. As indicated, the shoe is a perfect fit for me. The sole is very grippy over difficult/rocky trails, a little lighter than the all weather version, and I like the zero drop - a little extra comfort with a medium cushion. A great shoe.

Toe box is wide so gives a lot of room for all day activities and swelling.
