Flowersmith: How to Handcraft and Arrange Enchanting Paper Flowers Flexibound – February 6, 2018

Received this book in a timely manner. Bought it used and the description the seller used was accurate. Book looks like new with the exception of 2 corners showing a tiny bit of wear. The book itself is well written. I really like the way it is presented, showing you what can be made first and then the instructions. I hesitated on buying this book because of some of the reviews, however, I am very happy with it. The type is a bit small, but still readable. I think it is well laid out and very understandable! I would highly recommend the book for beginners and experts!

I don’t write reviews often but I had to for this book because it’s amazing! I’ve ordered a few books about crafting crepe paper flowers and this is by far the best, especially if you are just starting out. The book has great instructions and PATTERNS for 30 different projects. You can cut the patterns right out of the book but I wanted to keep it nice so I used tracing paper. The author also rates each flower from beginning to intermediate to advanced which is really helpful. If you can only get one book on the subject or are just starting to make paper flowers this book is exactly what you need.

Flowersmith is the perfect book for people interested in creating crepe paper flowers. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and I was relieved to find templates, which can be cut out and used over and over again. The photos are beautiful and really inspire creativity. I would highly recommend this book to others!

Wonderful book, got it despite the reviews. It is easier to follow than other paper flower making books I own. Each project has the template right after the image of the flower. I have experience making paper flowers and had always wanted to put my hands on the Flowersmith book to learn more tips on flower making.

The book appears to be a hardback book in the photo, but it’s neither a hardback or a paperback. It seems to be some kind of rubbery-feel coated cardboard. The binding itself is so tight you’ll need to keep it opened with a weight of some kind as you work from the instructions. At first the book wouldn’t open all the way. It is a sewn binding and the book just does not open properly.The type is so tiny, too light, and a hard to read font style and size.The book begins first with how to make the arrangements and you’re wondering well how do I make the flowers in the first place? You then discover the instruction page numbers for each flower alongside the photo. Why not teach you how to make the individual flowers first then how to arrange them? The binding makes it hard to maneuver back and forth through the book.The entire production of the book is a problem, with so many weird decisions made. It is such a shame because Jennifer Tran is a true artist. Her work is exquisite and her flowers simply vibrate off the pages! You *want!* to over look the book’s problems and work at reading the teeny instructions.The photography of her flowers is excellent and the book includes templates for all the projects.She has obviously worked so hard at perfecting her art and the love she has for her work glows from the pages. She just deserved better from her publisher.

I am in this book every DAY! Easy to follow instructions, well organized, wonderful arrangements. Thank you so much!

I preordered this book the first time I saw it and waited anxiously for the US release date. I was not disappointed! Jennifer Tran's work is beautiful and inspiring! The instructions and templates for making these flowers are easy to follow and I'm looking forward to working my way through this book while making my own crepe paper flowers!

I love this book!The pictures are beautiful, the instructions clear and I love the way they classified the flowers.The paper on the cover is amazingly soft and velvet like, trully a piece of art!!
