No way is this thing 1000 lumens
I have a pretty decent flashlight collection and I'm always adding to it. I thought the L-shape configuration on this light would be handy, as it's a real light you can use as a headlamp. But I was disappointed. The button interface is weird, and the mode would often not change at the click of the button. The strap does not seem durable, so when it breaks, there goes the headlamp functionality. Worse, the light is nowhere near 1000 lumens, and I can't find a single reviewer who actually tested it to confirm that suspicious number. The light does have a turbo mode that's fairly bright, but lasts only a minute or two, then steps back down to being....not very bright. What good is that? I have an ancient Petzl Tikka 2 headlamp that must be around 20 years old. It's rated at 40 lumen. This light was brighter than the Tikka, but not dramatically so. If it's 1000 lumen, I'll eat it. I returned this light and do not recommend it.
