Great for alzheimers person
Ok, got these for my husband to use. First of all, it's been proven that the color red for some reason, makes it easier for most with dementia to "see" the food. Science says it's less confusing to patients, but they don't really know why. The partition walls make is SO much easier for my husband to eat on his own. His coordination is lacking now and so having a wall to press the utensil against to fill, has been great. Also there is a silicone ring around the bottom to keep the plate from sliding away or being pulled easily into his lap. I wash them by hand, but it says you could put them into the dishwasher top shelf. There is a wide rim around the plate that is easy for him to hold with one hand when he wants to. I'm really glad I have these for him....sure makes mealtime easier.

Heavy and bright
My mother in law had a stroke and it left her with use of only one side. She is also visually impaired. Hoped this would help. It is better for her but that’s just a indication of the combination of issues. Don’t hesitate to buy.

These are fantastic and very sturdy.
We’ve had other divided plates and these are by far better. My husband doesn’t like for his food to touch and he’s definitely enjoying them.

Nice plate for dementia patients
Use it for my loved one with dementia. It is the perfect size for her smaller appetite. It is sturdy and washes fine on top shelf.of dishwasher. Only concern is that it scratches if you use a knife so all food must be cut up first. I'm not sure if red color actually enhances her appetite but studies suggest it does.

THIS PLASTIC IS NOT IN THE $12 NEIGHBORHOOD.. IT'S NOT SHINY AS SHOWN , I KNOW THAT SOUNDS LAME , I DON'T LIKE WHEN I AM MISLEAD , IT IS SMALLER THAN I IMAGINED , THAT'S ON ME , THE PLASTIC--- I WOULD NOT EAT OFF IT , IT'S MORE LIKE A TOY OR DOG DISH I ALWAYS SHOP PRIME , SENT IT RIGHT BACK , HARD TO FIND A QUALITY PLATE WITH PARTITION .. STILL LOOKING .....
