At Crooked Lake

This 1971 album, Crazy Horse's second album with almost different personel is quite folky. I can see why they became Neil Young's backing band. Their third album "Loose" with more personnel changes is quite similar. I highly recommend this album and "Loose". Their other albums became quite electric losing their folky sound. This album took a long time coming. Never knew it existed. How lucky it did.

No Canadian guitarist with them on this - just shows you that they were always good enough to go it themselves.I've always wished the Horse would have made more of their dirty, grungy American music than they have, but Hey! - the bestthings come in small doses, (so they reckon).10 great tracks if your a Crazy Horse fan. And 10 if your not.

Not a great record but a must have in the Crazy Horse journey!- they were a swap to Epic but oh my goodness just wrong in every sense!
