My First Story Orchestra: Swan Lake: Press the buttons to hear 6 sounds (The Story Orchestra) Board book – 7 Nov. 2024

Lovely book with 6 musical options, however within the second use of using the musical options one button stopped working. My daughter is so upset.

I got this book as part of a swan lake themed present for my baby cousin.I got a lovely jewellery box that also plays the same tune and is swan lake themed.I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the book and even more by the quality of the different music tunes that match with the story.I got it half price but it was an affordable price to begin with.I have no idea if the batteries will last long but there is an on and off switch at the back of the book.

The sounds in this book only lasted for two days! Then they became intermittent then three stopped playing altogether. Beware the 30 day return limit, this was bought in March for a granddaughter’s birthday in April. Amazon have advised we contact the manufacturer, based in China and no contact details on the book. An email to the publishing group has not been responded too.Maybe safer to purchase from a recognised book store.

This is great fun with small children aged 14 months pushing the buttons and dancing with granny. Big smiles and laughter.

These are beautiful books and my one year old loves them, however we've had two copies have the buttons stop working after about a week. Its such a shame. If you're interested it might be worth trying The Nutcracker book instead as our copy of that one is still going strong after nearly 2 months.

We were super excited for this book as we have another from the series that is paper instead of board book and have never had any issues with it over the past couple years. Sadly two of the pages do not play music, while the others still work. The buttons are easier to press for my toddler but if quality suffers we will have to stick with the paper versions.Update: the replacement we ordered started out with every page working, then one button broke and now a second and third has stopped working! We really like the book and wish it was better quality.

My daughter only read the book twice and two of the buttons have stopped working. The return window has closed as I had bought it in advance as a present otherwise I would definitely return it! So disappointed as she really loved it.
