Strips in a tight place, or where you need more space.
This wire stripper is just right for stripping wire in tight places where a knife is just not going to make it. It strips insulation all in one step. The power indicator saves a trip if you don't have a meter or whiggy. I use it in amps to strip wire where I can't get to it with pliars or knife. It is very well made.

Best wire tool i have ever owned

Works with bigger wire not small
These strippers/crimpers work very good. The only problem is am having is that smaller wire just wants to slide through and not cut the outer leaving the wire.

Hot wire detector have to be very close
Choose this one base on the fact that it has a built in electrical hot wire detector , but this feature will only work when almost touching the wire , plus only a certain side and area on the tool .Most area won’t even register if the wire is still live or not
