I have owned and restored many boats. My final project was my personal Arima fishing boat. These seats are the real deal. Design, feel and look are of the highest quality. Well done, made in America and the quality shows.

Seats sit good but sit to far to the front bolt pattern is 3 inches different

Comfortable seat, but will retain water! I noticed when I sat in the chair, my clothes would absorb water from the chair. To be fair, I see nothing in the description claiming this is 100% water resistance, but I certainly expected the chair not to retain water as it is a boat chair.

I hardly ever give a 5 star review so sticking with 4. These are nice seats. I'm pushing 240lbs and they hold me well. I've only used the seats once but it made for a much more comfortable day on the water. Remains to be seen if they will hold up but the construction seems solid. If I had a "gripe" it might be that they sit a little upright. I've seen some seat swivels that appear to tilt backwards a bit so you might try pairing them with one of those.I agree with others....they are a spendy seat but I wanted to get it over with and not have to replace them after a year or so.

We purchased a new boat in Aug 2017. Had a seat installed because I have a bad back. It was a nice seat but the back hits me right where I have back problems. Purchased another seat thinking it would be right but it wasn't. Found this one and it is perfect! The back is tall enough it supports by back. Seat is padded just right too for all day fishing. Wish I'd bought this one first but having the other 2 means MY seat can stay home if my hubby takes someone else fishing they can use one of the other seats :)

This thing is the lazy boy of boat seats. I wish I had a video of my dad sitting in it for the first time in his boat - his face was priceless! AAAAHHHHHHH. Let's put it this way - if you bought this seat and mounted it in your boat you would remove it before you sold the boat. I have sold at least 3 of these to family and friends. I have gotten at least a couple of years out of them before the stitching in the seat wears out or the seat cushion does.

Comfortable so far. Seems like the hinges on the back should be heavier duty than they are.....time will tell on that.
