It is black but the pen is NOT worth the money. The ink skips just days after purchasing it.

Q: What is the part number for refills?

I can't find a number on the refill, but it's called Parker Quink, gel. It's not easy to find! I have to order them - all color refills, online! Hope this is helpful.
