These were fresh, and arrived sealed. They are very easy to pour into our salt and pepper grinders. We love Himalayan Pink Salt, and the Rainbow Peppercorn is very good. Make sure that you have a grinder as the peppercorns are whole and the salt is very coarse.

There are plenty of options out there to do refills for your shakers. I chose this one because of the price per ounce. I can't complain and to me, the flavor is the same as all the others. The pro for me is the size. I buy a lot of Costco seasoning, so these fit with my cabinet just like those. I will buy again.
