The best glaze book on the market
This is a fabulous book. I have made more than a hundred recipes from this. I have also followed the authors instructions to make even more blends of different recipes. It is clearly written, could be used by complete beginners or those with more experience. Absolutely brilliant, my favourite glaze book by a mile.

Gr8 book
I was highly recommend this book. So I got it, haven’t read the entire book yet but so far it’s very easy to understand as it explains things in detail. From the chemical formulas to the end outcome. The recipes are easy to follow.

More than the normal glaze book!!
A wonderful book for those who find a list of glaze recipes about limited. As he says in the book any glaze recipe becomes yours anyway as the variables in recreating a glaze are so huge. There is scientific focus here, yet written in an intuitive and useful way for those of us who haven't read a science text book for a good few years.

Greg Daly takes the mystery out of glaze formulation
I already was an admirer of Greg Daly's Ceramics for many years but this handsome book explains how to formulate adjust and develop your own glazes based on his years of experimentation and success. The book is more for the crafts maker with experience in basic ceramics but is well explained and clearly illustrated making full use of digital publishing technologies to give fantastic colour reproduction.

Excellent technical guide
Beautifully presented and clearly written with a good framework for starting to develop you own work. Really for an experienced potter with access to these raw materials.

New ideas
Excellent having given me new ideas on glazing. Getting away from the complicated recipe and using just one or two ingredients has been exciting.never thought of that before. Of course there are many glaze recipes too.Straight forward and clearly written.Highly recommend.
