Instant hot chocolate mixes are not like I remember hot chocolate when I was younger. I’m 65 years young now. Whole milk was the milk we drank when I was a child, I don’t even know if 2% and skim was available. So hot chocolate was made with Hershey Quik chocolate flavor which had the sugar already added in. Swiss Miss is my choice for hot chocolate yet when made with water, it’s not the same. Even with using 2% milk it still doesn’t taste like I remember. Adding 1-3 tablespoons of this dry whole milk powder brings it to the next level! It’s the fat in the dry milk powder that add to the flavor and creaminess of the instant hot chocolate mix. Sure, you can make REAL hot cocoa from the recipe on the box of the Cocoa mix, if you prefer cooking it on the stovetop and adding 5 ingredients + marshmallows which is far superior to the instant mix. Yet adding this dry whole milk powder is a huge improvement!

We like to travel with instant coffee packets, but struggle to find a good cream option that doesn't taste like a bunch of chemicals. This product works perfectly! Travel with it in a ziploc bag, no problems. Tip if you're doing this - dissolve coffee first, then add powdered milk, mixes better for some reason.

I like that it doesn’t need refrigeration and that I will always have a source of milk . It tastes pretty good for dry milk works well as milk to drink. It is a bit pricey for us though so we use it only as needed.

In my lifetime I have tried many dehydrated milk products starting in childhood and going forward. There have only been two (2) dehydrated whole milk powders that I have tried which pass muster, which really taste like fresh milk using the gold standard that is real fresh milk. This is one of the two. I use it in my coffee, my tea, my cereal, my puddings, and where and whenever I want milk, but may not have fresh milk on hand. I may in the future try another brand as I have in the past. However, thus far I have always come back to PEAK.

This is the best WHOLE dehydrated milk you can buy. My kids and i love milk. This is the only one that tastes great, and healthy. I bought 6 large cans for emergency prep too.Problem is kids keep opening them and drinking it! If you mix it with a little extra heavy handed it is rich and creamy. It is awesome mixed with hershys chocolate powder and sugar and some salt. For a HUGE cheap can of instant hot cocoa. I use it in malts, sauces, cereal, etc. for a great oatmeal mix it up with water then cook oatmeal or cream of wheat in it. Wow it tastes like a old restaurant oatmeal. I mixed it up and filled galloon milk in refrigerator to see if kids taste the difference. After two days kids said we need to buy more of that brand milk because it taste so good.Once its chilled, it is as fresh as it gets. I put 3 heaping spoon fulls in my coffee. It is so good! I am not a paid or fake review. I truly love this stuff. Buy it because it is NOT available at Costco, Sams, wall-mart or Vons.Its really hard to find. It is not the cheap carnation NO Fat milk that taste horrible. This stuff is whole milk with the fat and taste like you just milked the cow.

I like to keep this on hand. We have a second home in the mountains and we don't always have milk on hand but this stuff will keep on a shelf and mix with water when you need to make some milk. It is actually very good. Great taste. I would and have buy again.

I love milk, and this powder almost tastes like 2% fresh milk. It did very well with powdered eggs and cereal. I think I'll try a little more powder ratio to water, and maybe a drop of Vanilla extract. Soon, I'll buy another and put in storage for emergencies. This was a great taste test.
