Wood was mostly the same color, a few pieces were a little more red than the others, but other than that it was quality wood. No glue blobs or anything in the layers. Cut and engraves nicely with a 40w diode laser.

Material was flat and no blemishes. Worked well for my application.

Its exactly what i wanted. Perfect size, perfect thickness. No warps. Perfect. Im so happy its gonna be easier to cut into these 😂😂..

I purchased the 18 Pack Basswood Sheets, and they have been perfect for my crafting needs. The quality of the basswood is excellent, and the 12"x12" dimensions are ideal for various projects. I've been able to create sturdy fixtures and detailed models with ease. However, a few of the sheets arrived slightly warped, which was a bit disappointing. I'm inclined to say this is actually basswood instead of the birch plywood some other places try to pass off as basswood. It laser cut as expected on my diode laser and took an etching well.As with a lot of wood products things can vary. Product states it's 1/8" thick, which is about 3.18~ mm and the batch I received is slightly thinner. Was not able to get a friction fit with 3 dimensional projects, still only a minimal complaint.

I make barn quilts so started making barn quilt ornaments. I score the pattern and then laser burn the holes for hangers and cut these shapes with my laser. This wood cuts beautifully without scorch marks. I've just placed my third order for these. So far, no warping or issues. Love this!

Very inconsistent results when using these sheets with my laser engraver and trying to cut things. Some sheets heavily warped right upon opening and the flatter sheets seemed to not cut consistently.

I am super pleased with this wood. It cuts so easy and I have a 10Watt diode laser and use 700 mm/m 70 power and it cuts with 4 passes, and leaves the edges Chocolate brown not black and charred! Gets the job done faster and saves on the laser from being at high power. I have purchased this wood 5 times now and will continue to do so. One thing I've discovered is that this is a bit under 1/8th". It is in fact about 2.4mm not 3mm, but it's all good. I had to resize the slot widths to accommodate the tabs in my projects but it's perfect! Thank you so much for putting out a product that doesn't have glue pockets you can't burn through no matter how many passes you do. I highly recommend this product. I purchased the 30 pak.
