Small Platform for Adult
This step stool is sturdy, well made, has a lock feature .It is 13” in high however the platform ie only 12”not big enough or safe for adult feet .

Good for kids, not adults
It’s easy to use for lightweight tasks. However, stepping on it anywhere except the center often causes it to collapse or bend significantly. Great for kids, not so much for adults. I’m 180 lbs.

Folds up easily
I got this stool for gardening. I figured it would be easy to carry from spot to spot and would fold up nicely to store, which it does. The instructions said that if you're going to stand on it, you have to stand with both feet, not one legged. I suspect that is because the stool folds up so easily. When you open it, the hinged area on each end in the center does not straighten out completely flat unless you specifically pull that part out. It would be nice if when you do pull it out that it would lock into place so the stool doesn't collapse so easily when you don't want it to. To collapse it for carrying us super easy, though. You just pick it up where the handle opening is on the top center of the seat and everything folds in by itself. However, I learned you have to be careful which side of the handle you grab or your fingers will get caught between the handle and the stool top and pinch. It's made out of sturdy plastic and can hold an average adult's weight. It's as comfortable to sit on as you can expect for this kind of stool.
