Liked it so much I have more than one now! I am a candle maker so I need lots of tools to help make my life easier..this one is perfection! It melts super quickly for any wax! I use beeswax, paraffin, palm and soy waxes and it works with them all. It melts it to the perfect pouring temperature every time and its easy to clean. It does not have any dials to custom set any temperatures . it has an on / off switch and that's it. Works great for me! Highly recommended.

The base turns on but the pot itself doesn’t heat up at all. Followed the instructions to the letter and still doesn’t work. I even emailed the support and they said they would get back with you within 24 hours and I still haven’t heard anything. It sucks because I was really wanting to use this, guess I’ll have to find another seller :/

I love this!!!! I make candles and this makes everything so much eaiser to work this. I dont have to stand over the stove watching the wax. It heats up will and the cool down is quick. Only down side it the pot sit wobbly on the base.

Easy to used and clean

It’s an okay product but I wouldn’t buy it again, the size is very small and honestly should cost less than it does. Other than that, it heats up fast and melts wax at a good speed while melting evenly. I would get it if your just learning how to make candles but if you already have a business going it would just be a waste of money

FINAL UPDATE: Was contacted by customer service again about the second unit not working either. They tried to help me understand why the units weren't working by explaining how they are supposed to work. Even with the explanation, there's no reason the unit(s) shouldn't be working right. In final, I'm going to give this item 2 stars: Both for customer service. Their representative was extremely kind and willing to help. She offered a full refund after finding out that the second unit didn't work either. Having good customer service can sometimes make or break a sale...and if all companies had customer service like SoftOwl....I would recommend them any day. It just sucks that the item I ordered didn't work....twice. SECOND UPDATE: Received the replacement and it behaves the exact same way as the first. It turns on for about 4 seconds and melts wax to boiling, but then it shuts off and the wax gets hard before I can even pour it. It doesn't maintain the wax at a melted temperature, and it doesn't turn back on to keep the wax melted. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong, if anything, but I've tried with two different products from this and it's just not worth a third. UPDATE: I received a message from the seller offering a refund or replacement. Since there are plenty of good reviews for this item, I wanted a replacement, in the hopes that this one item I had was just faulty. So I asked for a replacement. The customer service rep was very friendly and explained why it took so long to get back with me. I'm impressed very much by this. Upping my rating to 3 stars for now. I was going to use this to melt crayons and various wax pieces to make fire starters for camping. I filled the pot with wax pieces and plugged it in and turned it on. It heated right up and the wax was almost boiling at first. Then all of a sudden it quit heating up. The light on the pot itself turned off, even though I had the plate turned on. No heat, the wax wasn't melting. I unplugged it for a while to let it cool down, and then plugged it back in, but with the same results. I read in the instructions that if the pot isn't full, the heat won't kick in so as to prevent burning. I made sure the pot was full of wax pieces, and still, it didn't work. I submitted a message on the seller's website, but that was over a week ago and I still haven't heard anything back. Steer clear of this device....

This is better suited as a tea kettle. The heat is excessive and fast. After noticing my wax seemingly boiling on first use, I tested it by adding water. The temperature when FULL reached over 200F in a few minutes and the water was beginning to boil. It's just too hot for wax, especially soy wax with no way to control the temperature.
