It's like having a back porch for the minivan!! Comes with a floor and a side wall as well. Very easy to set up and take down all by myself. If there is one downside to this, it's that it doesn't pack down small. It's a big item to carry inside the van. But the simplicity of set up kinda makes it worth it for me as a solo traveler. The quality is excellent as well. The screen walls and zippers are high quality, not the cheap kind. It can stand alone as well which is nice when I have to leave the campsite to go to store or what not. I do recommend it. It's been great addition to my vanlife.

I love the ease of setting it up , but a bit disappointed in how difficult it is to put away, even with two of us doing it. Ground must be completely flat in order for it to stay up.

This is the 4th product that I have bought from Eighteen Tek and I have not been disappointed yet! This car tent is a double surprise! It can be used as a stand alone tent or you can attach it to your car! It is multipurpose ! What I like most of all about this car tent is that when you use it as a stand alone tent, the side that is supposed to attach to your car is a solid ecru color...so when you zip it up, it makes one private side in the tent! I kind of wish Eighteen Tek would do that for the larger tents also! This tent gives perfect privacy from neighbors on the one side! The mesh on the tent is very very small so very little bugs cannot come in! The photos that I posted show that it is roomy enough to easily fit in 2 -4 chairs and a table, plus it is roomy enough in front of that space for plants. Right now, I will be using this on my back porch to keep the bugs away and when we travel this fall it is coming with me! Caution though when you first open it and take the bands off! When it arrives in the package, the tent is double folded so it can ship for a decent price but when you take the band off for the first time it opens violently! So take care and try to stand away the first time you open it! Eighteen Tek supplies you with a super huge storage bag so you won't have to store it so tightly next time. Awesome, Awesome! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this tent because of all of these awesome qualities!

Difficult to refold.

Product ships in a smaller package so be cautious. It springs open instantly and will surprise you. Very easy to open and close. The closed storage bag is 54 inches in diameter after initial opening. The screen and zippers seem sturdy enough. Continued use and time will tell. It comes with a 1- year warranty so the company stands behind their quality. The size is perfect for a hatch back car or SUV. Keeps the bugs out for an enjoyable meal. We received a small expandible size pool from the same company, and it still works great years later. Give it a try.
