Quality and size
The steel holds a sharp edge for a long time. I really like the size and weight a lot. The only con is the first one was very hard to open. I returned it for an exchange and the second one opens much more easily. The shape of the blade is very good for all around use and the drop point is almost centered on the blade which makes it great for drilling holes.UPDATE: I did something stupid and broke the tip on the knife. For a replacement I looked all over Amazon but for me this was the best style, shape and size for the money….so I ordered another one and I am super happy with the new knife. It opens even better and more smoothly than the one before.

My new favorite EDC
This knife checks all the boxes. First of all I love thee perfectly symmetrical appearance, trulina best looking gentleman's knife. Super Snappy it's open like a much heavier blade and locks in every time. Super light but still feels very strong. Fits great in the 5th/ watch pocket on all of my jeans. Extremely sharp right out of the box and D2 Steel is a good budget knife blade. Will be buying several more colors to have and and give a special gifts

Surprisingly good build quality, and excellent value---this would be my "Cheap Knife of the Year."
If you want a knife this size, but with more rigidity and/or heft than other such small knifes that do not have metal liners, this may be a good choice for you. Fit and finish are excellent, which is surprising at this price point. The lock-up is solid. The blade, which is essentially a hollow grind, is thin and slicy. It came extremely sharp, as sharp as any pocket knife I've ever bought (and I'm 75 and have bought several dozen). The blade came dead-centered. Like the rest of the knife, the flipper tab is well finished...nothing uncomfortable about it, and as it sits at the perfect angle, it works effortlessly, deploying instantly and smoothly. The handle, with a sort of light G10 texture, is grippy enough, but not rough or scaley. Screws and pivot are flush. One note: The knife design is very efficient in terms of the ratio of handle length to blade length. When it's closed, the point of the blade sites almost at the end of the handle. Those who have large hands, as I do, may have a little problem holding the handle of this little knife, which is a bit less than 3/4" wide, so that no part of your hand extends over the opening where the tip of the blade flies out. The tip can fly out into your palm or a finger if you're not careful. My one tiny picky-nit is that I wish the detente were a bit stronger. Don't let any of this deter you, though. This is a great little knife. BTW, I wanted to remove the clip, and they included a little Allen wrench screwdriver that made that fast and easy. Very nice touch.

Good gentleman's knife.
This Olitans G040 is a good knife. It's light, solidly built, and fits comfortably in a pocket. I would call it more of a gentleman's knife than an EDC. It's smaller in size, but perfect for those times when a larger knife would be too much, such as out at a nice dinner, at church, at a wedding, etc.The blade is a spear point profile made from D2 tool steel. It measures 3/32"/2.2mm in thickness, 2-3/4"/70mm in length, giving the knife an overall closed length of 3-5/8"/92mm. The weight comes in at 60g.The handle scales are made of G10, but the texture feels closer to that of canvas micarta, albeit without the associated warmth. I'm also very partial to the olive drab color. It's a comfortable knife to hold, even at its smaller size. The flipper stud is positioned well and opens the blade quickly. The linerlock engages fully and feels secure. The liners are black PVD coated. All hardware is also black. There is a lanyard hole and a non-reversible deep carry pocket clip.Overall, I do like this knife. The dimensions and weight are perfect for a pocket. The clip seems a little thin for clip carry, however. I will probably remove it completely. As I mentioned earlier, I would not use this as an EDC knife. It's just too small for that. But if you're like me and always carry a knife on you, it's great for opening boxes, mail, prying out batteries, cleaning fingernails, etc. And at the price point, it's an absolute steal!

My new go-to EDC knife! Spring assist who?
This is my first non-spring-assisted flipper and I'm pleasantly surprised to find I prefer it! It snaps open just as fully and easily without the help. But what really wins me over is, it's a much easier one-handed close. Just hinges shut nice and easy with none of the unpredictability of having to overcome a spring in the home stretch (which has left me with a sliced pinkytip more times than I want to admit.)I dig the sleek, simple, symmetrical design. It arrived sharp, the clip's where I like it, it's pretty lightweight, and disappears in the pocket. I like the texture level of the handle, it's enough for a grip but not so jagged it's going to fray my pocket right away. Unboxed 10 minutes ago and it's already #1 in my rotation for light duty EDC.Update after a while: the finish on the blade is coming off, and in odd spots that aren't at use or folding wear points (I've carried it in my pocket daily but barely ever actually used it, even then for extremely light tasks). It's still black there, just a more matte black. I don't care but if you're fussy about your blades looking pristine, this could be a drawback.

Fantastic little knife
This knife was razor sharp when I got it. I have used it daily for over a month and it’s still holding a very very sharp edge. The scales have survived numerous accidental drops on wood, tile and concrete and are still in great shape. The blade is a decent size, but when folded and in your pocket you’ll hardly notice that it is there. It is quite slim and light, but also extremely well built and sturdy. The one handed design makes it very easy and convenient to deploy and use in a pinch. If I lost mine, I’d buy a new one immediately. This is by far my favorite pocket knife. My only let down was that the sage scales don’t glow in the dark. They look like they would, but don’t.
