I have an old ironing board with a cover that has seen better days. I got this cover to freshen up the board and make my ironing easier. This cover is made from a heat resistant material with a thick fiberfill material, and the entire cover has an elastic band running along the edge with a drawstring. To install, I started with the pointed end and stretched it all the way to the back. It seemed to fit my ironing board like a glove, so much so that I didn’t have to tighten up the drawstring. Two Velcro straps help smooth out the cover at the quarter points. It only took a couple of minutes to install, and my ironing board now looks like it is brand new.I took it for a test drive by pressing a dress shirt. The iron glides over the cover easily, and steam goes through the cover freely as well. The cover is very smooth and there are no bumps that might interfere with the iron.Overall, I really like this cover. It is well-made, easy to install, and performs well. It also comes at a reasonable price and can help you save money by extending the life of your ironing board.

I ordered this ironing board cover in gray in the 15 x 54 size.. This cover is very nicely made with a heat resistant cotton cover, a foam layer and a felt material that helps keep the cover from sliding on your board.Elastic cording is sewn into the edge of the entire cover, so it provides a nice snug fit. An adjustment tab at the base of the cover allows you to tighten the elastic cord if necessary. Two velcro straps extend beneath the board to help secure the cover so that it does not slip. I found that fitting the "nose" first (make sure it fits tightly) and then extending the cover down the rest of the ironing board worked well. Once it was on and strapped in, it was very secure. I do wish the foam pad was a little thicker, but at this price point i think it is reasonable.Looks good and will make my ironing more enjoyable!
