Well worth the purchase!!
Was having issues with an arthritic thumb joint. Having the extra padding on the crochet hooks has made such a big difference . I'm no longer having the pain I was experiencing before with just the bare crochet hooks. I had some serious doubts when I ordered them!!!! What a pleasant surprise!!!! I can now continue to crochet very comfortably!! Highly recommend this product.

Great to relieve hand pain when crocheting.
Makes crocheting comfortable. I’mA right-handed knife-style crocheter with small hands, and prior to using the cushion handles, my hand would tire and become painful around the pinky and ring finger. Wearing a compression glove did not help too much, but the ergo cushion handles did. They allowed me to have a wider grip which allowed me to crochet for a longer time. Pay attention to the color coding in the description to match to the correct hook size and use a very little vegetable oil or petroleum jelly on the hook to get it to slide into handle easily. Have bought two sets and highly recommend them.

THESE ARE A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!! YOU WANT TO GIVE THESE A TRY!!!
I started crocheting 52 years ago, and I learned on Susan Bates hooks. I have had to try new hooks as my arthritis has gotten much worse, and even the bamboo Susan Bates weren't "ergonomic" enough for me to crochet for more than a few minutes at a time. The resin hooks that I have purchased are great ( except they tend to break if I'm working a tight seam or such and that's just too much money to spend on a broken hook), but I am so much more confident in my stitches and my gauge with the Susan Bates Silvalume hooks. These grips gave me back my favorite hooks!!! The five sizes fit from 'G' hook through 'K' hook. The largest is a little loose, but I can put a little sports tape on the hook before adding the grip. The smaller ones are a little tight, but a small dab of lotion or oil takes care of that and they stay in place perfectly. The test was actually crocheting with them on, OH MY!!! I can still use the thumb rest so my hook doesn't 'roll' as I crochet, and after about 1 minute I didn't even realize I had a grip there, it was effortless!!! I'm sure they would work just as well with Boye hooks.Thank you so much to who ever created these little miracles!! They are a true God send!!!

Cheap and Effective Hook Grips
These grips are actually really effective ergonomic grips for your crochet hooks. The grips are easy to put on and I had enough grips to put on all of my metal crochet hooks. They are a harder foam so it'll keep it's shape but it's still got some squish so it's comfortable to hold. Recommend if you're looking for something affordable and easy to put on!

Not a great fit
You get what you pay for, I guess. It says that it can fit up to a size 10 crochet hook, and it absolutely does not. I was barely able to get it off a 6.5 mm hook. It does help a bit with confort by giving me a looser grip. I wanted to try these out instead of buying expensive ergonomic hooks, but getting better hooks might be worth it.

Actually surprised
I have tried ergonomic handles for crochet before like the boye interchangeable one and found they are useless for me (if not the wrong shape, then the ergonomic handled hook set doesn't have a deep enough groove on the hook itself so the yarn kept slipping off). I regularly use lace hooks with my usual hook being a 1.75mm as well as holding the hook different to many people. I have been using self adhering bandages to wrap my hooks but they get sticky after a bit. I recently had to work on a bigger stuffed project for work, so I bought these for the bigger hook. I loved how it actually fit my crocheting style and thought I would just give it a try on my lace hooks just incase. Turns out these work great on lace hooks too. There is no slipping or sliding at all and keeps the hook end from digging into my palm. Bought a second set so I can work on one of my regular projects that requires me to change back and forth between my 1.75 hook and my 1.70 hook a lot. I just wrote on the end of the grip with a sharpie to keep track of which hook is which as obviously I am using the same color grip for both.

Very soft and comfy
These are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! I have the padded hooks that have worked wonderfully for abt 6 years or so but my fingers were starting to cramp up sometimes. I decided to give these a try and BOY did it help! Fits on regular metal hooks and are so very soft and comfortable! I can crochet longer and with a lot less pain and cramping! Need to buy another set so I have plenty.

Worth it for hand comfort
I have RA and love to crochet but my hands, oh man do they hurt. I had bought a couple of hooks that had grips built on to them, and they are good when you can find them. I also have made grips with baking clay which were good, but these are better. Soft, foamy and light. They seems to hold up well and you can move them from 1 crochet hook to another. Plus enough sizes to fit all of hooks.
