Smooth shots
Incredibly stable. Definitely worth the money. Scratched up the base but that might have been more user error than anything. My shots have become much more smooth since using this and happy to not have to mainly use tripods.

THEY GOT ME! I thought it was a Manfrotto
I've only ever used Monfrotto Brand tripods and monopod so when I purchased this item I literally thought I had bought a Manfrotto monopod since they have the words Manfrotto Monopod right in their freaking description (those tricky little fellas). I thought perhaps the miliboo name was just a different model but when it came in and I realized it was a different brand I thought "well instead of sending it back I guess it's fine since it uses the same shoe plate". Unfortunately once you start playing with it you realize why it's less expensive. The movement is not as fluid as Monfrotto's monopods or even Benro. You have to literarily do what the picture is showing which is to step on a leg to do a forward push movement otherwise the feet just completely come up off the floor. And for the life of me I still haven't figured out how to break it down to a smaller floor version plus it's obvious that it's made with cheaper materials. So in conclusion if you're a beginner this will work fine for you but if you're use to professional brands like Manfrotto then just keep going with Manfrotto. I've already threw away the box it came in so I'm keeping this sucker for now but will most likely sell it to a local newbie as soon as I get a chance. For me I'm sticking with Manfrotto.

Terrible. Donโt do it.
Waste of money. Very cheap construction, all the clamps constantly come loose, very unstable. I missed the return window so Iโm stuck with it, but save your money and buy the Manfrotto monopod. I wish I could do 0 stars.

Quality Monopod..with 2 big flaws.
Great quality on this "Manfrotto for cheap" monopod. Large fluid head with good resistance, adjusts to good heights for lean shots, used for inverted shots, etc. If you remove the fluid head you'll notice that the screw has threads for both 3/8 for heads and 1/4 for cameras (or certain gimbals for that matter). There's also the removable foot which can be used as a Hi Hat in conjunction with the fluid head. However, there are two problems that are letting the side down with this rig. The first is the bottom clamp which comes loose periodically. I can tighten it down for a temporary fix, but it comes loose again eventually. The second problem is the ball head on the foot. While the knob on the bottom provides some resistance, there is no way to lock it down, thus making it difficult to get reliable lock-off shots. Bottom line: The rig is good for the most part, and definitely much better than other monopods with poorer designs. But seeing as how there's other monopods that address the flaws in this one (for not too much more money) I would recommend skipping this one.

Why pay $300 for a Manfrotto monopod when you can get everything but the name for half!
Great construction. Easy to use. Why pay $300 for a Manfrotto monopod when you can get everything but the name for half!
