I don't usually write reviews. I was very hesitant about getting this because it was so much cheaper than the other options. It works perfectly fine. It's plug and play. No issues at all. It stays in V8 the whole time and the is so much smoother. I lost no mpg. If I did it was less than 0.5 mpg I love it. Five stars for sure.

It plugs in and works. The price is indeed very affordable. The quality is just average. The truck stays in V8 mode, which is exactly what I wanted. I would recommend it; it's cheap and works well. It really lives up to the advertising claims.

I purchased this AFM/DFM Disabler for my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado Black Widow with only 51k miles, and overall it has been a solid device. It has consistently kept my truck in V8 mode, which is exactly what I wanted. I had read some reviews mentioning concerns about the device draining the battery, but I personally have not experienced any battery issues while using it. It has worked reliably since I plugged it in. I also saw claims that it could improve fuel economy. In my case, I haven’t noticed any change from my 9.3 MPG average, but my main goal was maintaining V8 performance, and it does that well. The price was reasonable, and I would recommend this product to others looking to disable AFM/DFM. The results are exactly as advertised! Installation was incredibly simple, and it immediately improved my engine performance. Acceleration is smoother, and power delivery is more consistent. I'm very satisfied with its ease of use and the significant improvement.

Keeps me in v8 mode. I've noticed the truck responds a little faster to throttle input, the milage on my truck has not changed at all, the milage computed by the trip meter is now accurate. Before, the trip computer would calculate mpg about 1mpg higher than actual. It now calculates the correct mileage.

I am using the Afm disabler in a 2019 GMC 1500 with the 5.3 v8. The disabler works great and also stops the automatic start/stop feature. Fuel consumption has increased but not significantly.
