I brought this for my son because his nose was fractured. Immediately he complained that it was uncomfortable, it blocked his vision and in the middle of his 7v7 football game it broke. It was a waste of money.

It’s really hard to tell which mask is gonna fit your face Best. I knew as much so I purchased too. This one was the clear mask version and in order for the nose bridge not to touch the upper part of my swollen , I needed to apply two of the adhesive foam spacers to the cheekbone area so that it lifted off of my face a little bit more. The clear version looks great without the padding, once you put the padding on, that is basically what you see through the clear mask. It would be great if it came with lower profile pads, but I’m not sure if it would hold in place as well. The black version of this mask is not for everybody. You look like Zorro, but you don’t see the backside of the adhesive of the padding through the mask. Other than that the straps around the back of your head adjust very easily and it is overall very comfortable.

The face guard itself is fine. It seems to be made of pretty tough material and covers both eyes and nose area quite well. The elastic straps that hold it to the head are okay, but nothing to write home about - oh, they'll keep it on your head so that's the positive and they are adjustable via plastics buckles.But, the pads that keep the face guard itself from impacting the nose or eyes are simply too thin. They just don't cushion any blows and any strike to the guard will force it back into the cheeks and eyebrows. The pads are just not thick enough in my estimation.

This has a hard feel for me outside like nose armor. When it's hit the whole apparatus absorbs the head and diffuses it across the lower brow and top center of the face. Visibility is good; looking out of this is about like looking out of full headgear.The material of this mask is quite sturdy and rigid, not as flexible as I'd assumed from the listing. The black has a noticeable shine to it even in low-lighting.The straps are adjustable but after loosening them for a better fit, the plastic buckles sit right on the edge of the mask, which can lead to some mild pinching. The mask itself sits mostly firm but it can creep up a bit during active wear. Being pulled up by the upper brow area. It's not intrusive but must be expected if using this during a sport.I think this will protect the nose adequately from all but the most direct/extreme impact. Even putting force directly on the nose, I only feel the shock dispersion on my upper cheeks and temples. The included pads can be placed as desired within the mask but are not made with the strongest adhesion or thickness. I believe these are here more for comfort than to aid in the impact resistance of the mask.It's an odd piece, despite being into several physical hobbies including martial arts, I really can't see myself using this as much more than a costume piece. I'll be sure to remember it if I'm ever in need, however.
