Nice and warm but not really for wheelchair users
I bought this poncho for my son who is in a wheelchair. It is nice and warm and I like the material but it's too long in the back for a wheelchair user. I have purchased other ponchos that worked much better for a wheelchair user.

Too long in back for wheelchair!!
I'm very disappointed. This just arrived and I could just as well put a coat on my son. I'll have to try to stand him up from the wheelchair to put it down in the back because it's so long. I'm worried about stores if it bunches up behind his back.

So much easier getting my Mom into this in the wheelchair than her winter coat!

Doesn't fit well for men or.....
This review is written for my brother in law who had this purchased for him with his money. My brother in law is severely disabled and started using a wheelchair when his mother could no longer carry him (he's now a senior citizen). It's become increasingly difficult to get a coat on him, no matter what size I buy. His arms don't bend like mine do. This was purchased for him with his money by the agency that helps him live his life. Today, when he came for Thanksgiving, he was wearing this poncho in black. I didn't understand it, because it was as if a hole was cut in a sheet and draped over him, wheelchair and all. The handles for his wheelchair weren't visible, they were under the poncho. I asked him if it was warm. He replied, no. It was 50° today. This is taking the place of his winter coat? I tried snapping it under his chin with the hood up. Not on your life was that snapping! The neck hole isn't big enough around to be able to snap this under his chin. He's not super big. 5'3" tall, weighing approximately 150. Hard to weigh exactly because you're weighing the chair also. This cannot snap under the arms for a disabled, wheelchair bound person. How? If they could stand, they wouldn't need a chair. I wouldn't recommend this, and if I'd known he was being asked to purchase this, I'd have said no. This whole design is just weird for someone in a wheelchair. It's super long in the back. That's a huge no-no, and a manufacturer of items for the disabled should know this. If you're looking at this for someone that spends their day in a wheelchair, if they can't stand for something like this poncho to be placed over them, please, keep looking.
