Good protection, straps are a little long
Overall these are great, they protect the shins well and the guard portion fits well. The Velcro straps are a little long for such small legs so it takes a bit of strategic planning to get them on right. The straps are the only thing keeping this from 5 stars for me. If they were adjustable, it would get 5.

Don’t love
Not my favorite, way too big for kids - but these are supposed to be for kids. The strap is way too long. They also move around a lot. This is pretty much the only style you can get nowadays. I miss the old ones that had under foot strap. Good quality I guess but flawed design unless your kiddo has majorly thick legs.

Second time we have purchased these, new ones ready for the new season. They are very good and hold up to a lot of knocks. The main reason I bought these were for the ankle protection which is definitely needed! I would recommend putting something underneath them though so that they do not rub on the skin of the shins when sweating.
