LOVE these sheets! That price tag though...ouch!
You know how thread count used to be the measure of quality when it came to your sheets? Then something happened & manufacturers figured out a way to cheat this number, and your whole belief system came crashing down? Like you can't believe what any of them say anymore because several bad apples have spoiled the bunch. I almost passed on these sheets, with their paltry 400TC. Let me tell you, I am SO GLAD I did not pass on these!First, the packaging is exquisite - these would make a great gift, and they're already tied up with a bow and placed in a very nice box.Second, yes, the thread count is 400, but it's not a lie - I think they really are 400 thread count, but on the old, honest system, where 400 really means 400, and it's a decent thread count!!Plus, they're 100% Egyptian cotton, they're super soft & smooth, they fit my 14" hybrid mattress with a few inches to spare, the elastic on the fitted sheets goes all the way around AND it has tags labeling the long side and the short side (really love this feature and miss it when it's not there), the flat sheet is generously sized and hangs down a good 20-24" on both sides, and the pillow cases are envelope-style.Sleeping in these sheets was a transcendental experience. They were so soft & smooth, and cool! I require cold sheets to be able to sleep deeply, and am always moving around in search of the cold spots, and these sheets stayed cool & comfy all night long, so yes, I absolutely love them & definitely recommend them. With all that said, I must point out that when I removed them from the dryer, the pillowcases and the flat sheet had ruched the entire length of the triple needle embroidered hems. This would definitely smooth out once ironed, but I am not the kind of girl that irons her sheets, I simply do not have time for those luxuries. In addition, $200?? Seems a bit steep, even though they're spectacular & packaged in the pretty box & placed in the zippered cotton bag & tied up with a bow. If they last a few years, then totally worth it, but it's too soon to say whether or not they will. What I can say is that if you've got the $200 to spend, you won't be disappointed.

Amazingly Comfortable, Cool Sheets!
High-quality sheet set. Includes fitted sheet, flat sheet & two pillowcases with envelope style flaps. The color is true gray with an almost silvery sheen. Comes in a lovely giftable box & encased in a zippered pouch made of the same material. Pouch could be repurposed for storage if you’re the type of person who prefers to have your sheets folded together as a set. Although, you would have to be very precise in folding them back to the same size. If you’re not a sheet folding expert, you probably aren’t going to need the pouch lol. Would make a lovely housewarming or wedding gift. The fabric is luxuriously soft & smooth. Keeps cool throughout the night. As a hot sleeper, that’s definitely a quality I look for. They can be machine washed on a delicate cold cycle & tumble dried on low heat. I washed before putting them on & it made them even softer. I have a queen pillow-top mattress with a 2” foam topper. These are considered “deep pocket” sheets. So, I was eager to see how well they fit with my topper. The fitted sheet went on easily without being pulled so tight in the corners that it slides off but taught enough there isn’t loose fabric over the top. The stitching is immaculate & durable. I imagine they’ll hold up well through frequent washing. These are high-end, high thread count sheets & are much more comfortable than standard sheets. Once you experience sleeping on these, it’s hard to return to standard lower thread count sheets. I appreciate they’ve included care recommendations to ensure they stay soft overtime. What’s even better…they have tags labeling the short & long sides. This saves you the frustration of having a sheet halfway on before realizing it’s turned the wrong direction 😆. Overall, they are exceptionally comfortable & I’d recommend.

Luxury that's worth it
They say it's always worth it to spend a little extra on anything that separates you from the ground, like shoes or a mattress.I'm a firm believer in this, especially when it comes to my bed. Sleep is really important for so I try to make it as comfortable and restorative as possible. My last upgrade was getting silk pillowcases which are amazingly soft and stay cool. My latest upgrade was these sheets. These sheets are incredibly and only get better after a couple washes. If you're looking to make your bed a comfortable oasis these are a great addition.

Very luxurious and silky, though not incredibly soft immediately out of the box
I’ve purchased some fairly high-quality sheet sets in the past that have a higher thread count and been higher priced. This Fishers Finery sheet set has the nicest packaging and best presentation of any sheet set I’ve ever gotten.Observations:*The box has a magnetic flap that keeps it closed, and also makes it easy to open. When filled with the sheet set, it feels fairly heavy. Even when empty, the box still has some heft to it.*The sheets are packaged in a zippered cloth bag; the pillow cases are packaged in their own zippered cloth bag. Not really sure what to do with these cloth bags now that we’re using the sheet set.*Immediately out of the box the sheets and pillow cases feel very luxurious and silky, though not incredibly soft.*Before putting them on our bed, I laundered the sheet set using our washing machine’s Delicates setting rather than Cotton or Permanent Press [the instructions say to use Gentle; our machine doesn’t have a Gentle setting]. The sheets were softer after washing them, though still not as soft as I anticipated they’d be. However, I suspect they will continue to soften with subsequent washes, so I probably will not really know how soft they’ll be for another few months [these sheets will be in rotation with two other sheet sets, which means they’ll get washed once every two to three weeks].*With a King fitted sheet, it can be difficult to tell which are the sides and which are the head and foot. Fishers Finery solves that by placing a tag on the head/foot letting you know that’s the short side [see picture].*From my experience purchasing other higher thread count and higher priced sheets, the price of this sheet set is appropriate. Though, I’d be willing to sacrifice much of the presentation if it meant a lower price for the sheet set 😊
