VillaWare C5555-15 Pooh and Tigger Waffler

The item arrived very quickly. As other reviewers said, it takes about 3 minutes per waffle (2 waffles actually) which is a bit long if you are cooking for a big family. The waffles are quite thin and crispy, my kids like that. The waffles are also not evenly done - this is something I personally don't like but so far the middle section of the waffles has been turning out darker than the edges. The bottom part of the waffles looks nicer - and hence it becomes the top when you serve them, the top is kind of smudged. There's no temperature control - you just have to keep the waffles longer if you like them darker. I had no issues with overpouring - it's quite easy if you follow the instructions. Easy to clean as well. Overall, I would recommend this to a family with kids who like the characters.

This waffle iron works well with my waffle recipes.The waffles bake evenly and quickly.The surface is non-stick if the recipe has enough fat/oil in it (this is why often the waffle version of a recipe will call for more fat/oil than the pancake version).Or one can use a thin coat of oil on the cooking surface, and use less fat in the waffle batter.I tried both with and without oil on the cooking surface.The waffles are just the right size for making toaster waffles. I can freeze them, and then use them as toaster waffles.

The iron arrived quickly. Our children were so excited. I was worried that more would want Tigger on their waffle instead of Pooh, or vice versa, but the makers are so clever that each square has one on one side and the other on the other, so that every person getting a square can choose which one they want, and feel like they have both. Our kids love it.The waffle iron works well. It cooks just a little slow, but evenly. The waffles are thin, which is good for kids. They end up being a little tough to cut. But they are so fun that none of us mind.This is a great waffle iron.

This is my sixth character waffle maker.The waffle iron is solid, lets you know when it is hot enough to cook in (but not when the waffle is done the way my Chef's Choice does). It browns evenly and quickly.The biggest complaint by my family is that the waffles are too thin.Of the character waffle makers Amazon currently sells, only the Disney characters were puffy enough.

The imprint on the waffles is very cute and the waffle maker itself is handsome. It makes two waffles at a time, about the size of a piece of toast each. We keep it on the table so we can cook and eat at the same time.

I lost my Instructions, here is what I do.1. Plug in, bee light will glow orange2. Open, Spray top and bottom with pam, then close3. Wait for bee light to turn off ~5m4. Pour waffle mix into each side and close, bee light will be on again5. Wait for bee to turn off again, you can also listen for the relay to click

Nice waffle iron. I burnt the first batch...and it was a little hard to clean, but that's my fault. Cute impressions!

I bought this waffle maker and I really like it. I makes the waffles with the heads of pooh and tigger and it does the job. The handles stayed cooled and I was happy with the result. Would recommend this product to anyone who is a big fan like me. It exceeded my expectations.
