ToneShaperGuitar Wiring Kit, For Fender Stratocaster, SSS1 (Blender Wiring)

I have been using theses guys since back in the ACME days, very well put together kit using top quality parts, and very good instructions.My soldering is not as good as theirs was when you could buy prewired, but the blender kit sounds superb after replacing all the unused rubbish in an elite Strat. For some reason sounds louder too, I always had to adjust volume when changing from a humbucker guitar, but not now.

All components arrived clearly labelled and quickly. The wiring diagram was clear and easy to follow. The components are of the highest quality and it has made my strat so much more versatile! A great product at a very fair price!

I bought this for a rewiring job on an Epiphone S310 Strat copy that had been abused over the years.The wiring diagram is clear and easy to follow, the components are all high quality, and the blend control works really well for bringing in either the bridge or neck pickup depending on which position your switch is in. Clever bit of kit, and along with a new tremolo block and a few other modifications it brought a 30 year old piece of scrap back to life.

High quality parts with clear instructions.Obviously the quality of the wiring is down to you and your soldering but the parts in this kit will last decades. You get more than enough wire too, PVC and cloth coated.My project isn't finished yet so I'll update this review once it is.

Top spec kit that would cost you about £90 if it was already built .Fantastic sounding and made my strat sound exactly like I wanted it to . I will never buy another prewired pickguard again 👍

Really happy with this as an upgrade. I had an old Squire, the cheapest of the cheap 90s model. Pretty uninspiring sound.I'd already fitted some cheap alnico pickups, but it was still missing something. Fitted the ToneShaper kit and now I have a guitar that sounds quite special.As long as you have some basic soldering skills fitting the kit is pretty easy

Excellent product with high quality components. This was straight-forward to install and not only improved my Strat's sound, making it both less noise-prone and more versatile thanks to pickup blending, but has given it a more confident feel. Definitely recommended and I'll be using these kits for all my guitars.

Bought this to complement a set of v-mod pickups installed into a Harley Benton strat, as it played great but sounded merely ok.Easy to install and contains plenty of wire, including a duplicate set of vintage-style wires.Warning: the 5-way switch is much taller than cheap models. The body wasn’t routed very deep and I’d copper shielded the whole thing...so when the scratch plate was screwed down, everything was grounded! Bit of electrical tape sorted it, but a moment of panic could have been avoided.

This kit is fantastic; quality parts, both teflon coated and cloth wiring included, tone bleed circuit, diagram is spot on, nothing left to chance. I modded a cheap, thrift store find Starcaster strat, which by the way is a great guitar to mod if you take the time. I am not the best at soldering, but a friend helped me through the task to make sure I didn't burn up a capacitor, otherwise very straightforward. I used the stock pickguard and had to enlarge the holes for the pots (go slow, step up to a larger bit each time and all will be well). Although the Starcaster has plenty deep cavities, I had to do a little relief work in the body for the larger blender pot to clear, not much, but a Dremel is most useful. All said if you're already modding it's much cleaner than a Gilmour switch, with the added benefit of a master tone. The tone bleed circuit was a nice addition too.

Habe dieses Set in einer 89er Squier (Samick) Strat verbaut und alles funktioniert tadellos. Die einzelnen Komponenten und Kabel sind absolut hochwertig und problemlos zu verarbeiten. Das in dem Set ein optionaler Treble-Bleed Widerstand mit Lötanleitung vorhanden ist, ist nochmal ein Pluspunkt. Das beigelieferte Lötschema mit Blenderschaltung ist sehr gut verständlich und funktioniert bei mir einwandfrei. Nur die Löcher im Schlagbrett musste ich mit Schraubendreher und etwas 150er Schleifpapier etwas erweitern, da diese werksseitig etwas zu klein für die CTS Potis waren. Neue Knöpfe für die Regler und Puckupschalter müssen bei einer Squier auch bestellt werden. Tonal und haptisch wurde meine Squier Strat durch dieses Set um einiges verbessert, also eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Das Paket wurde übrigens von Amazon aus England geliefert und war innerhalb von 4 Werktagen bei mir in NRW.

J'ai acheté ce kit pour upgrader une vieille squier qui commençait à fatiguer ... J'ai pris également un pickguard et un set de micro Fender donc il me fallait aussi une électronique de qualité ( ce qui n'est pas le point fort chez Squier )Les potentiomètres sont excellents et les fils très bien isolés.Le sélecteur est top. C'est du bon matos et pas cher du tout.De plus j'ai eu besoin de renseignements, le support technique du vendeur m'a aidé par mail , très rapidement .Du coup ça y est c'est cablé et ma guitare sonne super bien. Maintenant je suis tranquille pour quelques années avec cette strat la.J'en reprendrais encore un si j'ai une autre guitare à upgrader ... Je recommande vivement !
