False advertising for UK sale
This does not support features advertising in the UK. Come on Amazon and Anker. Really. Just be honest.

Anker F3800s in the USA and UK are quite different beasts!
Anker's F3800 is a great device, but while in the USA it gets 50A and 30A sockets to power RVs and WHOLE HOME BACKUP, in the UK the Whole Home Backup port is MISSING. You get a 16A (caravan style) socket, and five standard UK 3 pin 240V plug sockets. There is no way to backup your house, unless you run cables to individual devices from the F3800. You can't connect it to a generator socket, or transfer switch, or smart panel, as they do in the USA. They don't exist in the UK!Yet Anker still implies it can do who home backup. Not in the UK it can't. Nor can it coupl;e up to another F3800, as there is no port to do so, unlike in the USA.Finally, it turns out that Anker UK doesn't exist at all either! Telephoning the phone number on the website puts you through to a semi-bilingual Chinese lady, who takes your email address, and says she will forward your enquiry to the relevant team. Not sure she is capable of taking messages.Anker has less than a 50% positive rating on TrustPilot!Stunningly bad Anker!

Anker False Advertising!!
On all their literature it says that this is a whole home backup system yet it does not do anything of the sort. It also advertises linking 2 units together to make 12000w output and both units arrived and nothing. There is no way to link these units together. Just one big lie after another they should be reported for false advertising to the authorities and their product withdrawn until their product can meet the advertised use cases.I believe there may also be a case to go to trading standards as well. Companies should not be allowed to get away with this type of behaviour in 2024.It’s gets 1 extra star for being a battery backup for camping or RVs etc.
