- Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. Hermes/Mercury seated on a boulder at the sea shore, putting strings on the first lyre (made from a tortoiseshell) in a circular engraving. Hermes is recognisable by many of his attributes: winged shoes and hat (Petasos and Talaria) and Caduceus. Tondo form engraving.

- Size in inch: The overall size is ca. 15.6 x 11.1 inch. The image size is ca. 13.4 x 9.8 inch.
- Medium: Etching/engraving on hand laid paper.
Description: Source unknown, to be determined. This appears to be a proof engraving. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Anonymous' after own design. We have not been able to determine the engraver of this engraving. Any input appreciated.
