As above. The game is complex enough for both my grandson and his father and they know a great deal about soccer and the players. The grandson will be a great soccer player in the future.

Played with my niece who is a big soccer fan. She is totally obsessed and even plays by herself almost every day. I am not much into soccer but I still enjoyed the Trivia questions and learned a lot.

In my opinion, this is a weird game. I read the rules and found them rather convoluted. The game has little in common with the actual game of football. The game board and components are colorful, and the quality is good. I asked my eleven-year-old, soccer-crazy (he can name every player in the last World Cup) grandson to play some games with his friends. He said they didn't understand all the rules (the game is recommended for 14+), but they enjoyed playing, and would play the game again. He said it was, "Sorta like Monopoly." Once he's figured out all the rules, I'll challenge him to a game.

I got this for my 9 year old son expecting he’d play it with his friends when they come over. I am surprised that my 10 year old daughter is so happy playing the game with him. She doesn’t play soccer but does love playing board games.This was easy enough for them to set up and play on their own. It looks similar to a monopoly board and one chooses their team to play for. It has a nice mix of physical challenges as well as introducing players to trivia. It’s a great mix of elements to engage both kids or adults. It can be somewhat serious, but not too serious, as the small physical challenges are humorous. And for me anyway, because i don’t know much at all about soccer, I don’t expect to get any answers correct. It’s all in good fun and it’s a happy way to engage new information. Most importantly, it entertains my kids. I wasn’t expecting much of this game and it’s far exceeded my expectations. It was a hit as his birthday gift.

My partner and I are board games lovers—we even go to a weekly board game night with friends. We also like soccer, so I jumped on it when I saw this game. I am impressed with the overall quality and attention to detail of all the pieces. The artwork is excellent and encapsulates modern soccer, from the individual players, to the rules and strategies, to the top teams. I’ve been learning a lot while playing. The game has decent replayability. It's extra fun if the players add a little drama: like falling to the ground in agony if touched. Because it is so nicely made and a tribute to modern soccer, I bet that this game will become a collectible.
