The device is a USB power bank, with builtin 1watt led light and an analog radio. Using a 3.7 volt 1200 mAh li-ion battery. The radio is really nice considering the size of the speaker. However there is no headphone socket to get the sound into another device. The handcrank handle and gearing feels really smooth and solid with the red led indicater light varying in brightness as you work the dynamo, not sure yet how long it would take to charge the internal li-ion battery. The internal solar panel indicates that it is charging when put in the sunshine coming through the window and even under a bright lamp indoors. For those travelling off - grid, the addition of a USB solar panel would speed up charging such as KINGSOLAR 14W 5V Portable Solar Charger <https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01A6X4J4S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ONHjBbSRAP0JX> l use an old freeloader panel that has a USB socket built-in and can be fixed to the outside of baggage.

Only had the 1000 mAh solar/wind-up radio/torch for a week or so, so I have only really used the radio and torch (flashlight), but so far so good. It's a pretty small & compact device. Not sure how many winds it takes to fully charge the battery -- even though the instructions say crank for 1 minute at 130 rpm.

Brilliant device, main feature for me can leave the radio on in the sun and the solar panel charges quicker than it drains. Top item.

Act like really a emergency radio, can charge my phone when power fails. It does not expensive but powerful in any ways. Great product and quality.
