There is sufficient power in the fan to adequately control mild smoke and steam, particularly when the fan is set to its maximum level. After using this product when preparing foods that often filled my apartment with strong fragrances, such as frying fish or creating a hot pot, I noticed a considerable decrease in the lingering odors that were present after the dish was finished being prepared. I am able to simply modify the airflow to suit the food that I am preparing, and the many speed settings give me adaptability. I find that the lower settings are rather quiet, which is ideal for regular cooking when I do not need the highest amount of power. There is a tendency for the noise levels in a small place to become overbearing very fast, which is why I believe that this function is very significant. Additionally, the inclusion of the huge oil collecting cup is a kind touch. It is my opinion that it makes cleaning up a lot simpler since it efficiently gathers any grease particles, hence reducing the amount of buildup that occurs on the fan itself. I have used the range hood for frying, and it seems to perform a decent job of containing the majority of the oil, which contributes to the general cleanliness of the kitchen. In addition to being simple to remove and clean, the aluminum filter that can be detached is also quite handy. My impression is that it makes the maintenance process easy and uncomplicated, particularly considering that it can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

I always avoid frying food at home for the bad smell until I saw this portable hood and wanted to give it a try. I was impressed by the powerful suction that really works! I loved how it's light weight and can be moved around. You can put right near the cooking pan and see all the smoke being sucked! It's so Quiet and easy to clean the filter. It looks sleek on the Countertop!

We have a gas stove, and we have used this a few times. I gave this a 4 star because there is a black mesh screen that you can take out and clean, however it became disfigured from the heat the third time we used this product. We may have put it too close to the burner. We could not get it flattened back to the original shape, so we took it out and just use the built-in filter and an additional disposable white filter that come with it. (You can order additional white filters when needed).It is powerful and does pull the smoke and steam from the cooking area. We also use the exhaust fan above the stove. This was bought to help with the excess smoke sometimes created when cooking. I would recommend this product but would also say...don't put it too close to the cooking area.

I always love to eat hotpot and grill meats at home but was super hesitant to do it often because of the nasty stench that stays after a session and finally found a solution! This hood vent is great and actually works as described! It’s also very small and portable so you can easily move it around to where you need it. Clean up is a breeze, a quick wash of the filter inside and it’s ready to use again. Customer service is great and quick at replying back when you need help. I emailed them to request a new oil filter and they quickly gave me a solution. Will definitely be recommending this product to all my friends and family.

This product works ok but they don’t sell replacement filters.

Barely pulls the smoke sitting directly over a pan.

this is very good option for people who does lot of cooking and don't have vented exhaust system, I bought 1 before as a trial and loved it so bought a 2nd one.construction and material of product is very good, and it looks very nice on your kitchen counter tops.My wife loves to use it in every day during cooking and no smoke stays in the kitchen.Noise level is very low at normal speed
